Received an automated voicemail (with a robot voice) saying the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and I needed to call the number immediately. I know this is a scam because it used to be a person with a foreign accent leaving the same message.

I got the same message.  Definitely a scam; the IRS wouldn't notify you of a "lawsuit" over the phone.

Got a call here too.  BS!

They just called my 17 year old son say saying irs was filling lawsuit against him and to call immediately.

Got the same as others. Robotic female voice says IRS if filing a lawsuit against me and to call the same number back. Ridiculous!

I received a message saying that I need to contact in regards to tax fraud, and they would tell me what the next step would be.

I received a voicemail from an individual that claimed to be from the Irs. They claimed that there is a lawsuit pending against me for fraudulent tax return, and I need to call before lawsuit is filed.

Automated caller reporting that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.  Need to call back to get info on this case.

Received the same message from 1-202-386-0645 saying that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. Did not reply to the call because  I believe that it is a scam. Did call the IRS but couldn't get a person.

Received fraudulent call stating that IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. Did not answer. They left a voicemail, which was automated. Wouldn't dream of returning the call.

Yes, we received an automated voice mail from this number saying this is our final notice, IRS is filing lawsuit and to call (202) 386-0645 for information.  Called this number, it rang several times, no voice mail, finally nothing.  Wow!  They did not even say our name(s)!  Our taxes are prepared by a certified, professional tax person.  We have nothing to hide.  So we thought the voice mail wasn't for us.  Now I realize it was something, fraudulent, scam, etc.  as we have never received anything from the mail!

These scammer idiots that tried to pull that IRS BS were amateurs. I asked them the questions that i Knew would make them back pedal up against the ropes. They could barely speak english and didnt have any of the necessary info that the IRS would have. Then to really annoy them, I called the number back fom several different numbers to annoy them, some from *67 and others that were completely different and called them scammers repeatedly. Consequently, I called the IRS First to make sure the number and claims were bogus before I did it . Beware of these D-bags
