This caller leaves partial messages in switchboard's voice mails indicating a partial reference number and the warning that "you have been officially" notified. When dialing it back it rings twice, there's the sound of being switched over and then you are either disconnected or you listen to some sort of new age/new wave music then disconnected.

they said the call was for shannon (couldn't make out the last name) pre recorded message, saying someone has filed a report against you, asked to press any number on keyboard to be connected. I hung up.

It says your name then they say they have been hired to serve you at either home or work and too call them back to resolve the issue then you've been officially notified... its a scam went through this last year. If they wanted to serve you then you would never get a call they would just show up. These idiots are low on the fraud chain, get a real job dumb [***]!!!

Just received a  call from this number- what a scam.

Was a pre recorded message saying a complaint has been filed against me and would be served at home or place of employment. To speak to someone press any number. I did. Went to a live person who said that a complaint had been filed against me and they had been trying to reach me since December. I asked why had filed the complaint. She responded with "Fox Enterprises" to which I responded "never heard of them, what business are they in?"  She refused to answer and asked if the,last 4 of my social security number,her was xxx.  I said I was not going to confirm or deny.  I had been laughing through the whole conversation.  She said "have a nice day" and hung up on me.  This was the first call in which any specific information was provided as far as a business name.

I get similar calls periodically. I usually block the number and they stop calling for awhile. A friend has also been receiving the calls.  Each time they call it's from a different number.
