I answered and there was silence, then a hang up. When I called it back I received a message that said "Your number cannot be completed as dialed" so it must be a fake, but I can't figure out who it belongs to.

Same thing happened to me, right after i got a call from 619-326-3219.  It was a lady with an accent asking for Natasha.  I have gotten about 10 phone calls from different numbers located around the U.S. and NO Caller ID #'s all either asking for Natasha or just hanging up. 812-604-7655, 678-666-0039, 686-280-5301, 636-463-4260, 260-748-9228, (4) NO caller ID. Seems like a scam for somebody to try to get your personal info.

After receiving a call fro an obvious foreign speaking woman named Sherry Gomes notifying me that through as election system at the United States department if Health and Human Services, I had been selected to receive a $7800 grant with no obligation to repay it.after a series of questions from me trying to learn more about who she was, where she was calling from and repeatedly asking who she represented , where her office was located, I only received vague answers  but she gave me a close number identifying her that I was to give to her supervisor by calling the number 202-497-9095 and I would be given instructions on how to collect the no obligation grant of $7800. I asked he if she knew my name yo which she repeated my first and last name, which is not the name I am generally known as. At that point I not only was suspicious that the call was an attempt to get confidential personal information from me in an effort to defraud me or to scam me into some other deceitful theft. Checking on line I also found many similar attempts from that and other call in numbers. No doubt this us an ongoing scam. My intent is to report this with as much detail as  I can to authorities at USHHS in an attempt to find and stop the fraudulent. Scamming operation of these con artists.

I just receive a call similar than Salty Vet. It was a lady with Indian accent named Cristie her phone # 202-407-9091
from Washington District of Columbia. She said that I won a grant from the government for $7,800.00 that I don't need to repay and I will need to call to 202-407-9095 to get my grant and give all my information.
I never give my information to her because I told her I receive many scams than I didn't believe anymore.

DC, USA. It has scam written all over it. I'll tell u one other thing. If ur gonna call me and claim you are representing my AMERICAN government. SPEAK FREAKING ENGLISH!!!!!!!   I could even understand the lady that called me, so I hung up.

Received this call 3 times in 2 days. The caller states that I've received a free federal grant for about 7,000$ that does not need to be repaid from the US government. The caller when pressed for information on her name, company etc. started cursing and yelling shut up, shut up!!!!! She had a thick carribean accent and was very rude.

Thanks for all your comments. I did not pick this call and I called back using a landline, and true enough, it's saying that the number is not used/does not exist. I blocked this number right away.

202-407-9091 keeps calling my cell phone. I'm not going to answer for the reasons everyone is giving. "Ain't nobody got time for that". So much for being on the no call list.

calls and nothing is said and then the phone hangs up.have tried to call back and it says the number is not is service>>>  how can it be not in service???   this call comes in weekly and a few times a week.  

they call me nonstop

These people keep calling me and it's driving me nuts. "You've been selected to win a grant of $7800 from the Government".. Today I pretended to be really excited to win the money and tried to get info out of the caller. I asked how to get the money and he said "Go to CVS or Walgreens and get a green dot card". I wish they would stop calling!!!

My daughther received a call from a Mary Parker with an accent as explained here from many and then she told me her name was Shelly Smith which with an accent like that I knew the [***] was [***] it!!.
By the time I got involved my daughter was gullible to have purchased a pay pal card and given them $250. She is a single mother of 2 babies, she is disabled, & she just wanted to have an opportunity to provide better for her kids. UNBELIEVABLE!! HOW Does our government not take corrective action of these complaints and stop these con artists from further hurting inocent people that become victims of these scams??
