Have been receiving calls from 202-407-9159 for a couple of weeks now.  We never answer calls from numbers we don't know.  This time they left a message saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against us and to call them back at 202-738-4400.  Comments for number 202-738-4400 show it is a scam.  They want you to send them money.

I was getting missed called, but never a message.  I got a call today and the person said that I received a grant.  They had my name, address and cell number.  They told me I needed to call 315-675-5164.

Received a call from this number at 1:42 on Monday May 18. Caller ID says it is from DC, USA. The caller had a very thick accent and told me I had won a grant from the US government. He said he was calling from the US Government Grants Department and that every year many hundreds of people receive grants administered by the Human Health Services Department. He stressed that I should call 315-675-5164 immediately with an approval number that he gave me. He said they would take my bank info and deposit the "grant" into my account OR I could receive my money at any Walmart or MoneyGram location. Both of these numbers have been reported before.

I haven't answered this call but they are blowing up my phone and not leaving messages... it's annoying.

Have gotten 3 calls today I answer and they just hang up. It's very irritating. Called back and it just rang and rang no answer but they have stopped calling.

I answered this call, I smelled a scam right away. Asian lady telling me I was selected to receive money from the IRS that I didn't have to pay back. I said "listen lady, the government doesn't give money and not expect it to be paid back" She hung up on me.

Received several calls from 202-407-9159, and they told me to call 315-675-5164 with a confirmation number and told me to pick up the money  from a moneygram store, and that I needed 275$ to get my money. SMH these scams are ridiculous!

I answer and it automatically calls another number. I only hang up before connection. I'm guessing a 900 number scam.

I'm tired of 202-407-9159. They've called me 2 times in the last 5 minutes. I tried calling back but it doesn't even ring. I'm tired of it.

I got the same call. Figured it was a scam when he asked if I wanted it deposited in my bank account.

Damn Scammers.. I got this call 4x in one day.. So i just tell them my husband is a sherriff officer and i will report this call..he hung up right away and I  never got this call again!!
You know its a scam when you call them back and it rings about 4 times b4 they pick up. If it was IRS they would pick up right away with a voice recorded voicemail FYI

Got a call this afternoon,  from 1-202-407-9159, guy was speaking in very unclear english, never could understand him.  Ask for  a Tom, told him wasn't here ask where he was, told him I had no idea, no one here by that name.  Ask him to remove my number from his call service and hung up.  I usually don't answer unknown numbers and let the machine get it.  Didn't look at ID before grabbing the phone.  If they can't speak English, I don't talk with them, period.

I received the same call today.  When I asked them to repeat where they were calling from the hung up.
