First I got a call from 801-805-2812 explaining $7000.00 US Grant. Kristy gave me code WG1022 & instructed me to call 202-407-9183; no answer. 30minutes later I rec'd a call from 202-407-9183. I was told that there would be a $500 processing fee. I hung up immediately.

want me to pay $150.00 to western union to get a grant for 7000.00

I received a call from "US Governor" about a grant for $7,000 based on the phone number and name. I have work with grant before and my fact I now that to get a grant the person need to do something in return.

So Google the number and found this page.

Same exact thing happened to me as the other people reported. Call from "Kristy" from the "U.S. Government Grants Department" stating I was eligible to receive $7,000.00 for "my hard work" and for paying my "taxes on time." I was instructed to call 202-407-9183 and give the code WG1022. Instead, I filed a complaint with the FTC, which you can do at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov. When it asks for type of complaint, select "Other," then "Grants." When it asks if you are complaining about the company's telemarketing service, click "No."

This company keep telling me to wire them the $235 fee & I will be eligable to receive $7400 loan when I wired them the $235 they asked for an additional $200 which I told them they would not be getting at all from me.  When I asked for my money back they told me it would take up to 9 weeks which I still haven't received any money from them.  The person name is Andrew Simon.

i just received a call from 202-580-8283 i was told to speak with a stacy rose and to give her my com.# of LH354 and go to a western union and wire 120.00 in order to receive my 7000.00 free grant money. for one i could not understand her for nothing. and i asked her over and over if i could get a email or whats the website. she then got angry with me and put me on hold twice to speak with her manager.. finally i got a website out of her www.usgrants.gov and come up as nothing but a bunch of real goverment sites. i told her that i was going to research it a little more because that makes no sense the goverment is going to give me 7000.00 dollars haha yeah right! all i had to do is wire 120.00, i asked why cant you take it out of my free goverment... she kept  getting angry and said i have too do that first in order to get my free money. i said okay after i look it up and i will call her back she said some crazy word and hung up....

Third call from area code 202 for same $9,000 grant. Same spiel wanting credit card nos./ bank account info or western Union payment.  Always very hard to understand.
