Automated message stating that I lawsuit against me.  I have believe that I would have received certified mail notice.

Automated call stating that they have been trying to reach me, and that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. What a scam ! Every contact I have ever had with the IRS has been through snail-mail, plus they have a local office here, so why would they waste time with a robo-call from DC.

Automated call saying the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me. Message broke up in the middle of them giving call back number.

some  are landlines...many  are  cell phones...some  are  spoofed  and  linked  to  offshore foreign call centers  /  countries !!!!
we've  traced  back  most  of  these  numbers  to  offshore  foreign    call centers mostly  in   INDIA /  THAILAND / AFRICA  /  JAMAICA  ETC....

here's a  few  other  numbers  posted  from  the   same  area  code  offering a  wide  variety  of  scams  /  fake  emails and  scams  after  posting  something  on   craigslist   (  old  scam  )  ...... collecting  for  non  existant  "  payday  loans "....free  money / scam  giveaways /  calling  on  behalf  of  a  humane  society..... $1,000's  in  free  gov't  money.........  etc  etc.....stories  change  out  all the  time......and  the  usual  nonsense!!!

It's Somali scammers trying to trick innocent Americans. My husband & I researched it after I was called two days ago then again today by a different number. They call thru Google voice so it looks like it's a US phone number. They tried to give me a bs story about me owing $6K in taxes and if I didn't pay, a cop was coming to arrest me within an hour, to which I said "tell them to come get me." This is going on a lot right now so be careful and block them!

We received a voice mail from an automated female voice.   Her message said that the Internal Revenue Service has filed a lawsuit against me and that I need to call them right away.  When I called there was a very fast busy signal.

Interesting she does not say that she is from the IRS but states that they have filed a law suit against me.  She only implies she is from the IRS.  Also she did not even leave her name or the name of the person she was trying to contact on the message.

Get a job folks!
