I did too and a man with a foreign accent told me to load a greendot moneypak card with 299 dollars and I will receive a cashiers check through fedx

Man with accent told me the same. Only difference he said the check will be delivered to my house

I got this call as well today, not sure what to do about it. I did submit for US grants late last year he said this was where he got my info.

I received  a phone call from this number. Man with foreign accent told me I was chosen by the government for a grant for 8300.00 to be delivered to my house- I just needed to purchase a greendot money card and pay cashier check fees of $299.00 - I told him I was not interested, he became very angry and said, "WHY ARE YOU WASTING MY TIME THEN?" I said "you called me, Im not wasting your time." He repeated "WHY ARE YOU WASTING MY TIME THEN MA'AM" and I hung up.

I got a phone call from same guys said I would get cashiers check delivered to my door and delivery guy would go to bank with me and once I cash the check give him two green.money pak cards with three fifty a piece I told him I went to cops and they said scam he argued with me said no its not then tryed to get my bank account to direct deposit it I laughed and hung up

I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, and it seems these people are getting through anyway!!! NOT RIGHT! I'm in Indiana.

Makes sense now. I was talking to agent "Kelly Smith" who said I owed thousands in taxes. I questioned everything- they said the IRS sent an agent to my door- was sending out an arrest warrant for me tomorrow,..... All made no sense. Glad I googled the #. As soon as I did- my caller ID pulled the number as it was from Egypt.

Scammers looking to frighten folks into paying off bogus "lawsuit" being filed by the IRS. The IRS will not contact you by phone.

Call from computer generated female voice saying IRS filing lawsuit and to call the number back.

I didn't answer the call however there was a voice mail left by an automated women's voice saying a lawsuit was being filled against me and I needed to call the same number back.

I got a call today morning at 7:18 AM

I got a call saying the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me

Received a call from this number, saying he was IRS and I owed back taxes, was on the fed list for tax evasion. Was very forcefull that I pay or would be arrested within 2 hrs.  SCAM!!
