They called saying the its was filing charges against me

Missed a call fro 202-446-6041. When I returned the call it was answered, " This is the IRS."  When I asked who am i talking to the man hung up.. He was speaking with a foreinh accent.

I got a message on my home phone from this number saying to call them back because the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me.  The caller id said Cell Phone DC

Got a call today said filed against me and was going to be arrested.  They have my personal info.  Not cool.  Scam

Got a call twice and a voicemail saying it was regarding my "case" and to call back. Called back and could barely understand the guy. When I informed him that the number he was calling was in NO way attached to my tax filing and asked if this was a scam, he hung up. Ten minutes later, he called back, this time telling me to....ahem...to keep this PG rated, 'have relations' with myself, my dog, my mother, my brother, my aunt, my wife, and pretty much everyone else. I was slightly amused and said, "Soooo, are we still pretending we're with the IRS now?"

Definitely a scam, and will be reporting the number, and also for fun, will be listing this number on every "enter here for a free..." listing I can find on the internet.

Just received a call from them stating they are the IRS and are going to take legal action if I don't call them back. I have been at the same address since forever. I would be receiving letters if this was true. SCAM!!!!

Beware off ft this fake IRS scam Google IRS phone scams learn about it. I got a call saying I was getting a law suit vs me n filling charges vs me. I called back and the scam began he acted like he a officer telling me if I don't pay 4 k$ today the cops will be at my door and bring to jail or I could pay them with a money gram they read fake charges fake case number try to scare me by saying they going freeze my bank accounts everything I owe . I call the FBI was told this is big scam going on and more people have to report them they are over sea In a call cente blooming for victims all day . 1800 366 4484 is the number to report so others don't fall for this scam post on your face book tell everyone you no about this scam

Mails Out letters and you have sign for them  These people are trying to bully older people into believing they are going to jail this not even a real number they are Useing it called a spoof number . Call your phone company and block the number and all fake numbers. My friend got a call and was scared till he call the cops and told him it was A Scam and filled out a report and they post this in the news paper about this scam and the computer scam and fake grant money scam

Scam call from IRS stating suit to be filed against me, 10:00 am Nov. 23, 2015

Received a call (computer message) stating they were going to file a law suit against us and that we needed to call back immediately. Thank you everyone who posted! I figured it was a scam, but nice to know I didn't have far to look for confirmation.

Received calls from this number indicating the IRS is filing a Lawsuit.  I called them back and spoke with James Cooper whom had a Indian Accent, upon advising him they are scammers and I'm reporting them to the FBI due to being a law student, he called me a f***ing B***h and hung up the phone.

called my home at 6am this morning, left a message when I called back a woman said she was from the IRS, tol her this was not the IRS phone number and I hung up

Scam caller from the IRS.... Levys... Garnishments.... Etc....

They say they are IRS

I got a robot sounding call saying that I was being sued by the IRS...and that I should call 202-446-6041 to find out the details.  I'm not calling.  If you are being sued by anyone (you have to be served) not called by a BS robot dialer.
