I knew it was a scam when he said they will send it Western Union LOL the GUVMENT aint about to randonly pick people and give them [***].

A representative from the US government offered to me about $9 as a grant.

Said to call this number for free money.

They offered me a grant from the state of 8750 than I started thinking when they said western union and if it was a us grant why was some one that sounded like there where from India calling

I got the same call the nber came up with111-111-1111

I got a phone call 111-111-1111 said from government I can receive a grant for 8070 the number to confirm 202-455-5280

person says hey you been selected to receive 8,750.00 just buy a itunes card to 230$ secure your registration

Have received this call many times always the same. they can't speak English they say you won a grant but you have to give his supervisor a call at a different number and give them the authorization number and then you have to pay money to get the grant. when I told them to just take it out of the grant money they got mad and said just call the number. I called the number just for the record so that I can find out who was calling nobody answered but the machine told me it was a Google phone number. I told their message machine that it was the same old scam and to take it and shove it. About 10 seconds later I got a text message from that number saying mind your words.

Got a call from the Grants Department that i've been got qualified to receive  a grants of 8750$ lol....

This number accidently dialed me and I listened to over a minute of background office talk in another language. Middle Eastern dialect of some sort. I have received several calls from these morons before. I drag on the conversation with torturing stupidity. They think that I believe what they are telling me and I punish them with ignorance. Will they never learn?

As im reading this i hung up and they called back and asked what happened i told them not to call back and he asked wat the problem was so i told him he was my problem and to not call back and he said sir i have a problem with u i sleep with ur wife. And i hung up and he tried to call back about 4 more times

About the 5th time Ive gotten this call.  This time I told them I already got my check.  I could just see his face drop when he said "what".  I said yea, the gov't already sent me the $8,750 check...thanks a bunch really appreciation the info. He hung up!  LOL made my day.

I'm getting about 5 calls a week

So I just called this place back went along with it until he started talking about a iTunes card. I ask if thought I was f***n stupid. Told him I'm going to hunt him down and get him sent to gitmo

got the same call, and called the police.  they were not interested when I told them they expect me to call back in 30 minutes when I get to the parking lot. they were to give me instructions then.  If they wanted to, they could trap the call info and get the source.  I worked for A T and T for 12 years and know a lot about what can be done with phone lines and tracing.   Seems like the world would be better off without the country most of these scams are coming from.  anyone got a special delivery for India ?   That place is probably a slave shop and the people most likely are not there because they like it there.  They are dumb, and they prey on the dumber
