I received three calls from this number today. The first I did not answer; caller did not leave a message. The second call, I did answer. The caller asked to speak to a woman whose name I did not know. I told the caller there was no one by that name at this number. He disconnected without saying anything. The third call, I also answered. A man and woman were both speaking, apparently to each other, in a foreign language. I couldn't identify the language but the accents sounded Indian. They did not ask to speak to me. I said hello, several times, louder each time. The man and woman did not seem to hear me. I finally said, very loudly, that if they called me again I would file a complaint with the FTC. Again, they apparently did not hear me, and I disconnected. I called the number back and got the message "the number you dialed is not in service." I *have* filed a complaint with the FTC (at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx).

I've received three separate calls with no answer and no voicemail. One time they did ask for me by name but hung up before I could say anything. Looks like they're making their rounds today

They have called me 4--yes, FOUR!--times today in less than 7 hours! Did not answer any of their calls as I don't answer calls outside of my area code. Like everyone else, they didn't leave any message; just keep calling & calling in the hopes that I'll finally answer. Wonder how long it will take them to figure out I ain't answering?.........

I have received so many calls from this number this past week I literally have lost count. I finally answered today and they asked for me by name. They told me that they are calling for the United States Government and that I was selected to receive a FREE grant of $7000 <---- Bahaha!! It took everything to not laugh at them right them. I wasnt allowed to use the money illegally (gambling, etc) but that I could use it to pay for education, home improvement, etc. Then they asked me in which way I wanted to receive it: Western Union, Direct Deposit, or American Express Card. I said Western Union since they wouldn't need very much info from me (account info-mailing address). They asked my city and state, which I didn't give them my current information because lets face it if they were the "government" and they had my phone number you would think they would have my physical information especially since they said I earned this free grant for paying my bills on time, paying my taxes on time, and never filing for bankruptcy. After verifying my fake information they then gave me a confirmation code, and another number to call to collect my free grant. I never called that number. I am suppose to ask for an Alexander Smith and give them this code. Yeah.. If my day doesn't go any better today I may just do it to get an extra laugh from the next person on the call. HAHA! Its spam. LOL

caller: Hi we are calling for the United States Government and you were was selected to receive a FREE grant of $7000
Me: so this is a scam
    caller: yes
Me: ok thanks please stop calling me

six months ago this happened and they wanted me to call Alexander Smith and give them a certain code

In the do not call registry the phone number is not a real number

I am being harassed daily and several times a day. I am on the Missouri no call list, but they keep calling. The caller ID says District of Columbia. But if you call back it's a discontinued  number. I am so sick of it !

Like the one from a couple of days ago. I finally answered today and they asked for me by name. They told me that they are calling for the United States Government and that I was selected to receive a FREE grant of $7000. I wasnt allowed to use the money illegally. Then they asked me in which way I wanted to receive it: Western Union, Direct Deposit, or American Express Card. They had all of my information city and state and claimed to be the "government". They said I earned this free grant for paying my bills on time, paying my taxes on time, and never filing for bankruptcy. They then gave me a confirmation code, and another number to call to collect my free grant. I never called that number.

This number had been calling me the past few days, several times a day, at all hours (got a call last night/this morning at 2am!) Obviously if it were a US business they would not call at that hour on a weekend. I finally answered today. I heard a lot of people talking in the background with an accent that I couldn't quite distinguish, and I kept saying "hello? hello?" and I heard a faint "hello" on the other end, a few times. I still heard at least two others talking in the background as if it were a call center. We exchanged a few more "hello"s and they eventually hung up on me. Didn't say anything else or ask for anyone else. I blocked the number.

Nope. I'm a chick, and they never respond. I got 3 calls in 3 hours, and no one ever answers when I say hello. Last one I told them to stop calling. Next time: I'm blowing my air horn into the phone.
