***WARNING*** Male with an Indian accent wanted to know how many miles my current car has on it. Claimed he was from my warranty company. He knew what make and year my current car was, but when I began asking him questions, he hung up on me. It's possible this number is used by person/persons who will eventually try getting personal information from you. 1/22/2014

I just got a similar call except it was a woman with a heavy accent speaking English so slow that I couldnt understand what she wanted at first.  She said she was from a warranty company that Honda deals with that verifies auto warranties.  She told me the year/make/model of my car and then asked me how many miles I had.  I asked her why did she need to know that because my car is fairly new and I wouldnt be out of warranty yet.  She just said thank you, have a good day and hung up.

Same thing, 2/1, I also got the I am from my auto manufacturer and offering warrant - asked questions they hung up. Either trying to steal the car or getting personal information

Called on 1/29/2014 -  1/30/2014 - 2/1/2014 asking for me by name and something about a Honda I bought 6 years go and no longer own.  Quick to hang up when they know you are not stupid.

I received a call to ask whether I'm car owner of certain make and year . When I verified his name, he hung up. It's truly a nuisance. Such call and the guy should be tracked and arrested.
