- I Hate Diane| 1 replySame thing happened (home phone, though) as did to Annoyed Business. I'm laughing that we have this chick's number now. Will try her tonight when she is hopefully home and answers her phone so I can give her an earful! I suggest others do the same, so we can at least try to knock out one scam telemarketer.

- Caller: Yentel, Diane
- Cj| 3 repliesAlso was hung up on - caller Diane Yentel - called number back, phone machine this is Diane leave message, message box full. Since I work from home and don't appreciate calls on my work line and because also on do not call list filed compliant with FTC and Do Not Call Registry, all of you who receive the calls should do the same, otherwise credit card fraud telemarketers will continue to try and scam us.
- CharleyI got the same call as everyone else. Twice today. I called back with the same results. I also reported them on the Do-Not-Call web site. That might work, but it probably won't. It could possibly be a stolen phone number.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JulieSame as everyone else listed -- Recording asking if I want to lower my interest rate press 1 -- man with broken English asked if I want to lower my credit card interest rate -- I asked him what credit card -- he said your Visa / Mastercard -- I asked if he was wanting me to get a new card or one of my current cards -- he said my current card -- when I asked again which one he said your Visa and Mastercard that has at least $3,000 and over 10% interest -- I asked what company he worked for and he said again Visa and Mastercard services -- I asked if they had a web site and he said it was being developed -- I asked to speak with his manager and he was rude and kept saying he was the manager -- I told him no, he was not answering my questions to my satisfaction and I wanted to speak to his boss -- he hung up -- Called the caller ID back and answering machine stated it was Diane Yentel but the mailbox was full.

- PrivateBEWARE! THIS IS A SCAM OPERATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Similar to the previous post, when asked - "What company are you with?"
Some woman with a thick accent keeps repeating that she represents Visa MC and AmEx. I asked again, who pays your check, and what company originated this call, the name of the company, etc... She kept on with the same BS only added Bank of America, Chase etc. I asked her again to tell me what company originated this call, and she hung up. Do not give up your card number. This SCAM is probably using Skype number out of Country. The offer to lower your Credit Car interest rate, and the next step would giving your current card numbers to them. Contact your local police and FBI. Violation of National Do Not Call laws is the least of your concern with this SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- Caller: Yantel, Diane
- Private| 2 repliesYantel, Diane on the caller ID is most likely spoofed number. Poor girl probably turned off her phone, no wonder her voice mail is full.
You can spoof any number for $10 with some shady Internet companies.
---Do this, when you get a call from them:
Try to collect as much info from these scammers as you can, by pretending to be simple, then use it to report them to FBI. I'm sure these scams' days are numbered. Don't wait for someone else to do it. If we all stand up for what's right, we can help a lot of people.- Caller: Scam
- Private| 1 reply!!!!!!!!!DO NOT GIVE UP YOUR CARD #. Make up some numbers, make sure it starts with 4 for Visa, 5 for MC, or 3 for AmEx. See if you can get as much info about these losers, then report to authorities.
Is there a pest control for these losers? FBI, FTC? Hello?- Caller: Scam
- Sick of it!| 1 replyI did not listen to the message all the way, but female bot says "I have an urgent message for you regarding your interest rate". BEWARE! The caller ID shows it as a Cell phone and not a LAN line.
