Didn't answer since didn't recognize caller ID.  No message left.

Received a nuisance call from this number... no message was left...  The 202 Area Code is for Washington DC and the Caller ID was FRNKCMPN.   Because of the Caller ID and the Area Code, it could be a call from the shameless, twisted Massachusetts Congress"person(?)", Barney Frank or his "Staff", cruising the phone lines for some dubious purpose.  If it is from the Congress"person" or his staff, I would consider this an obscene phone call (even though no message was left)!  I would lobby to make it illegal for the Congress"person" to use the phone for any reason.  This law would be a more meaningful and beneficial piece of legislation than any he has had anything to do with during his hideous and seemingly endless dance across the public stage.

Allowed the caller to leave a message. After a few seconds of silence, a recording said, "This is a political survey call. We may call back later." That was it.

It is a political survey.  A voice asks you 15 questions and you speak an answer yes or no.

It could very well be a scam and your 'yes' or 'no' answers may be dubbed into a tape agreeing to purchase something.

I've been getting calls from this number almost daily for over a week, though I always let it go to the machine. The recording says that it is a political survey, with the first question asking if I'm registered to vote. With no way to verify who they are or where they are calling from, why would anyone answer their questions?

Been calling for past few days now, leaves a voice message this is a political organization and we may call back.

I got a call from Caller ID FRNKCMPN Telephone # 1-202-461-3452 yesterday at approx 5:35pm and they left the message on my voice mail "they are watching" and then hung up . I tried to call back with no answer. I then tried this morning the line was busy the firstcall back and no answer on the second that was made 10 min. later. Please tell me who is watching and watching what?

Received a call at 9:30,I did not know the caller so I let the machine take the call. All I got was "we may call back latter". I then used my magicjack phone and called the mumber, no answer. After reading the post on this site I am assumming that it is to bolster support for the "Gay marrige bill that Gov. Douglas (Vermont) vetoed, and a way for the national Gay movement to put political pressure on the Govener.

Three calls to our home phone on the same morning -- no messages were left; but the information on caller id indicate:

Our phone line is on the "DO NOT CALL" list -- and yet some of these still come through.

I recieved a call from the above phone # this afternoon. I did not answer because I didn't recognize the number. And they did not leave a message. Does anyone know absolutely for certain who this is?

I've had 3 calls from this number, no one ever there, never leaves a message. This may be because my ring takes too long top forward to my cell. I'm on the no call list so I think I will start filing unwanted call reports to the feds over this number4. If the No Call list choose to, it can cost somewhere around a grand per call. That would break any shoestring PAC's piggy bank real fast.

Just got the same msg 4/9/09 same caller ID info too.

Not from Barney Frank, it's Congressman Steve King from Iowa. Some kind of survey.

Got the call once yesterday and twice today. Didn't answer either of those and let the answering machine get it. Automated message starts and once it detects an answering service, it leaves a message similar to "Sorry we missed you. This is a political survey call. We may call back later."

Will answer tomorrow if they call again and let them know I am on the federal DNC list. I know that when its election time, political solicitation calls are exempt from federal law concerning the Do Not Call list, but not sure about this type of call.

I, too, am on the No-Call list.  Caller ID said frnkcmpn.  I sincerely doubt it's Barney Frank - that's just way to paranoid.

I get calls from the same number including robocalls.  They're from various right-wing causes..
