They called me on my cell phone at 10:36 am this morning. Caller ID said Washington, DC and harassment, so I blocked the number.  I found information here :http://mrnumber.com/1-202-467-8144

Same here, they called me on my cell phone t 11;20 this morning. 1-202-467-8144 was the number. Washington DC. I just let it ring since I didn't recognized the #.

Funny, we received a call from 1-202-467-8144 telling us that we have issues with the IRS and that they wanted to help us solve those.  But we live in Canada and our national revenue department is not called "IRS".  It is definitely a scam.

Ha, that's the same reason I found this website. Those idiots called me here in Ontario.

Rip off, taxes were accepted by its today.

Call was telling me I could settle with the IRS. Told him to remove my # as I'm on DNC list.

I just left a message with another person  that this [***] tried the same thing with . [ point is this  ,first report this to the federal do not call list at 1 800 382 1222 and report this in full with the phone number  , date time  so forth ,do it !!!!  next  buy a call blocker from amazon for  40.00 dollars and block their phone number  for good ,third call the      IRS      and report the phone number as I did last year  and with the FTC AND THE IRS  this person was procuted  and sent to prizon  for time . ]  do not forget to recorded the phone number  he will give you to forward the routing number to your checking account  number (do not do this  with the number) . you will help several people  ,, this will put this bastered  where he or she belongs  ,in  J A I L ..................................THE IRS DOSE NO CALL PEOPLE ON THE PHONE ,ONLY US MAIL ,GET IT !!!!!!!!!

Call your state attorney General office in your area and report this number to them.
you paid your taxes and they need to do their job !...

They called me and hung up on my machine. Odd that they called right after I filed my daughters taxes on TurboTax!??!!

Robo-call stating they could help me with my IRS problem. I don't have one and NEVER had one.

We receive several calls a day "in reference to your current credit card accounts."  If you listen to the entire message, you're supposed to dial 3 to have your name removed or 1 to speak to an operator. I tried dialing 3 several times. Twice I've dialed 1 and told the "operator" to remove my number from their list. How do I stop this harassment?

Ever hear of ignoring mystery numbers entirely? Pushing anything only assures the callers your number is working so they can bombard you with more. Make sure they're getting NO kind of answer from your number and be patient. A call blocker may be of assistance as well.
