Calling saying that the IRS has a lawsuit against me.When I called back they said a addresses that was not mine.I told them that it was not my address they hung up.Tried to call back the number is busy.For urea a scam

This is a huge scam and the authorities need to get these people.

Definite scam!  Multiple calls w/in last 2 days. Called back, introduced self as IRS agent, to get abruptly cut off. Please get these people!

Received 2 messages from them. Sounds like a computer-generated voice. Also, similar to calls I was getting from someone saying I owed the IRS money. I expect it's the same bunch or one like it. I am sure I would have been notified by mail or the caller would have addressed me directly if this were a something other than a phishing scam.

Tried calling seems fishy. If that's the case let me get served.

This is a scam Google IRS phone scams and see all the people that Fell for this scam mostly older people. I reported them 1800 366 4484  let's stop them and warn others about this fake IRS scam. They are in a call center waiting for victims to call back useing a spoof number. They told me a lawsuit vs me jail time yea right  fight back vs these scammers

Called from 206-792-9711  and 202-470-819 IRs recording saying IRs to pursue lawsuit. called back. some black guy wanted my name  and SSN. told him I was not giving my SSN. second time recording states you can't be connected. If this is so prevalent why in the hell can't this useless government do something about it. the are USA #'s. And this moron in the white house wants to allow terrorists in the country?????    Government---- do something other than just collecting a pay check

some  are landlines...many  are  cell phones...some  are  spoofed  and  linked  to  offshore foreign call centers  /  countries !!!!
we've  traced  back  most  of  these  numbers  to  offshore  foreign    call centers mostly  in   INDIA /  THAILAND / AFRICA  /  JAMAICA  ETC....

here's a  few  other  numbers  posted  from  the   same  area  code  offering a  wide  variety  of  scams  /  fake  emails and  scams  after  posting  something  on   craigslist   (  old  scam  )  ...... collecting  for  non  existant  "  payday  loans "....free  money / scam  giveaways /  calling  on  behalf  of  a  humane  society..... $1,000's  in  free  gov't  money.........  etc  etc.....stories  change  out  all the  time......and  the  usual  nonsense!!!

Caller: "202" area  code  fraud /  fake / scam  calls

I got a call from this number 1-202-866-0819 and "claiming to call them back or my attorney call back of some kind of criminal record or good luck to me...?" It was automated voice and i think is a scam and i have no criminal record...something is fishy here..if anyone gets this don't call back...and if anyone gets this number add info here...trying to search for who they really are...they don't mention your name at all when they call..

This is a con artist from overseas, hoping to scare money out of you. No name is left because the caller has no idea who you are, the message is intended for whoever hears it or answers the call. No chance to leave a message, or get any kind of answer, callers have no chance to scare you or anything else.
