Telling folks they have been awarded a grant from the government.  Beware they are at it again.

They tried to take all my money and I'm a single parent with 5 kids and make 7.25 an hour

Said they were the social security agency and are suing us. To call and settle out of court.

They said they are from the IRS and its filing a lawsuit against me.

Recorded call that says it is the IRS and it is filing a lawsuit against me.

"A lawsuit has been filed against you."  Gave a case number and a number to call to deal with the matter.  Known scam publicized by law enforcement.

They said the exact thing to me at 6:30 this evening

Left message saying IRS is filing lawsuit against us. Go ahead and have a good time.

Claimed i was being sued

I keep getting these phone calls saying they are the IRS and I am being sued.  I get at least one a day.  This is harassment and the government has to find a way to stop these scams!   It comes up Washington DC

I received two calls from this number this morning. Two incoherent messages with a computer generated voice. The message started mid sentence about some kind of case file and to call their department immediately. I blocked them but I don't know if that will help.

IF you think of getting money out of me you must be crazy or stupid one  try it with someone else I will never in my life pay a scammer like you the phone number does not even belong to the I.R.S. and they don't even call you when you owe them money  they send letters through the mail or certified which you have to sign for them.

Caller stated we were being sued by the IRS and to call back at this number.

Said they were from IRS.. THIS is the second one in 2 months.. I called IRS said was a scam.. 😡

Posting as second call is coming in, stated Internal Revenue Service is filing suit and to call this number 1-202-470-2369.
No takers here.

We've received at least five calls from this number over the last few weeks, allegedly from the IRS. Each message escalates the pressure; the latest was "You're being sued by the IRS...".

Total scam.  Originates in either India or Pakistan.   Block and ignore.   DO NOT RETURN THE CALL!

The same as above: pre-recorded message stating that IRS is sueing me and I'm urged to call that same number ASAP.
Ridiculous!! Someone has to do something to stop this harassment!!
