I got the same phone call today. They told me i have a large sum of money waiting for me. I have no idea what is going on. I have told them to send me something in the mail so that i have paper trail of their company.

They said they were the Department of Justice yet he had a foreign accent.

this phone number leads to a "raymond jones" after the alleged "dept. of justice" leaves you a message their number is 202-470-3383..it is in regards to a sweepstakes from sweepstakes clearinghouse 214-256-4458 I called all the numbers the raymond jones was the best he literally snapped at me and copped the biggest attitude yelling at me because i didn't claim my package that has been sitting at the JFK International airport for 18 days, his exact words were "why the hell you no claim this package?? it been sitting here for 18 days"? ok seriously? I was just calling these numbers to file my harassment suit since they continuously blew up my phone and after the 10:02pm phone call i went on an investigation.  I feel sorry for those who are or going to be going through this..hope this helps anyone...I am full aware of scams and I knew immediately this was one, but when you are calling me all day and night and after 10pm that was it for me...good luck folks!

I totally agree,SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM exactly as I received but the name given was Grant Roche and the other party was John Perren, Thanks for posting your response. These people are idiot's, who on earth do they think are going to believe them, first of all not professional at all. When I tried calling the number back after listening to all the crap they were trying to feed me, they have a stupid recording that doesn't allow you press the prompts or options as if they were a legitimit automated service, come on really?????Go get a job!!!!!

I got a call from this number today. I was left a vm by a female with no accent.  She garbles her name but goes onto state that she is calling from the FTC and that I am to call her back at 202-470-3383 promptly.
