An automated call/recorded voice from Google Plus saying they have tried to contact me "numerous times" and it is "imperative" that I claim my business listing.

Got a call from them today. The caller ID said "Linx Communications" but it turned out to be a spam Google call. I get about 9 of these a day from different numbers.

Machine dialed call from someone claiming to be with Google Plus saying they have tried to contact us numerous times and it is imperative that the business owner claim the business listing. I think we got this identical call from another number not that long ago.

Rang landline, rang mobile. left no message.

Linx Communications must be the be all, end all for your robo dialing needs. I don't know if organizations use them because Linx is cheap or because Linx's machines relentlessly call.

Just from looking at the caller ID, I knew not to answer. We are a business. I wish they were rules for telemarketing creeps that call businesses, even after we tell them we are not interested. Not interested as a business or as an individual!

just got a call...guess thats the beauty of caller ID...if I dont recognize the number I just dont answer...let em leave a message...getting more and more unknown calls all the time... :(

The company's name is Local Lighthouse. When you ask the salesguy what company they are with they say "Data Compilers". The person on the message you hear is John Pearson. The owner of the company is Eric Oakley. I called customer care and talked to a stephanie (probably not her real name). But she did gave me his direct number (714-264-0550) and said he was the president..

Thanks for the info. We're a home based business and they keep calling and hanging up after our message machine picks it up!  They come up LINX Communications.They called me back from the same number . I heard "Mark" talking to one of his "employees". I think he may be a call supervisor. This is what I heard from my end of the answer phone. Mark: " I don't know, this number ( meaning ours") belongs to a banking institutution"      ( We are not a bank or any type of financial business!)    ANyway the line was open and "Mark" soon disvocered" his error and the line went dead.

Lynx Communications on ID here too.  Typical Google Plus/Google Placement spam robo call.  Hit the to be removed "2" and it guided me to an "urgent request" for the future of my company.  They've called three times today.  A new record for them.

I hate freakin telemarketers and all these bulls**t calls. I have had 17 calls today from numbers I didn't recognize. I never answer...why do they keep calling??? These type of people are pure SCUM and DUMBA$$ES!!!

This number has been calling my cell phone.  I am on the no call list, and this caller keeps calling.

Got al call on my cell phone and they told me also that they were from Google Plus and that they needed me to update my information with them.  I was asleep when they called and knew that it was a scam so I just hung up the phone.  I save all of these scam numbers under "Do Not Answer" and the select the option to go directly to voicemail.  That way when they call back, I don't even have to hear the phone ring.

Wanted to know if my business wanted to be on the FIRST page of Google?

I told Gomer that I wanted to be on the first page of www.droopydawg.com -  Patel got choked on that one.
He didn't know whether he should scratch his butt or wind his watch.

everyday same time for the past two weeks.. Kate from Google+ calls.. i answered once hung up when I heard the recording.. pshaaaa.. If i want telemarketing I would seek it.. pisser

i had a similar experience with yellow pages for several years. nothing worked. they called EVERYDAY.
i dont mean to sound gross but I finally began to take the calls and said the creepiest things to them. Nothing was off limits. Most were directed at their wife and sister. If they were women I inquired about their wardrobe in the most detailed and explicit manner. took a lot of time but apparently they realized they were wasting their time. I havent had calls from them for 3 years now!

This is yet another incarnation of a criminal scam to get your personal information. If Google wanted to contact you, they would use your business e-mail address.
