Looks like a scam scare tactic to get you to buy compliance training. Unsolicited fax. AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT CALL THE REMOVAL NUMBER> That just verifies to the crook/scammer that their fax did indeed reach you. Put it into the recycle bin and go on about you day. I think it extremely underhanded to try and scare people into buying your products.

We received a fax from this number also. However, it bears the name of a company and individual that's no longer here, plus a DOT number, Supervisor Compliance is given as the name of sender.

My office has gotten 3 different faxes from this #.  It does have a disclaimer on the bottom of the page if you read the whole thing but after the third notice my boss wanted me to just make sure that it was or wasn't legitimate. I agree with the comments Glenn made to Sandra.  This is a scam!

2nd COMPLIANCE NOTICE...sent via fax. Again, it is directed to an individual and company not affiliated with our company. Toward the bottom of the fax is an insignia that appears to be an official seal, which is only to make the notice LOOK official. Calling the automated system at 877-529-4086 to "update the database and stop future correspondence" will only ensure that you receive more unsolicited faxes in the future.

We received a third fax from them, too. Again, it's for the wrong company and a person who doesn't work here. I don't know whether to throw it out and just hope it's the last "notice" sent to us from these creeps who don't even research the companies/numbers they are sending to, or to file a complaint with the FCC.

4th COMPLIANCE NOTICE...sent via fax.  Just trash em and move on.  I checked the regulations and I don't need them, if I did I wouldn't use these [***].

Lets fight back against unsolicited faxes... file a complaint with the FCC. There is a junk fax law!

Keep getting this fax which now states-"6th Compliance Notice". We know this does not apply to us, but as you can see, the faxes keep coming. Guess what I do? I keep calling these numbers and hang up when it rings, Turn about is fair play.

Received fax regarding DOT training. Ignore these scammers and just go on the DOT website to see what compliance your company needs.

We have received a third notice in the mail from this outfit, warning that this is our final notice and we risk failing a DOT audit for non-compliance.  The notice gives no company name, but shows a Delaware address and the 202-480-2900 number, a D.C. cell phone.  I am checking with the post office to find out if this constitutes federal interstate mail fraud and will report them if so.

The lengths these weasels go to seems like a lot more work than a REAL job that they could feel good about.

Got Re mandatorty D.O.T. training notice today. It is a total scam! Just throw it in the trash. Use it for a paper airplane.

My company recvd a letter in the mail I am glad that I found these other people documenting the same request.  I thought this was legitimate. Until I read this is Ascham

I keep getting these as well; I think I'm on my seventh "Final Compliance Notice" now.  Not sure what their definition of "FINAL" is.  I am trying the "removal" phone number at the bottom today.  If that doesn't work, I'll file with the FCC.  I understand that everyone says not to dial the number or it confirms a valid fax number, but I believe the fact that their faxes send successfully and I keep receiving these is evidence that they don't need my phone call to confirm anything.  I just figure the FCC would want to know that the advertisers removal instructions are bogus or not.  If it works, then all is well.  If I continue to receive message, or if they increase, then I have more ammo for the FCC.

Just received another final compliance notice from Supervisor Compliance, makes about 8 so far.  Receive most via fax but  have received a few via email.   Sent one received couple weeks ago to our insurance agent, who also handles issues regarding DOT requirements and training.  He said it is a FRAUD, SCAM whatever you want to call it.  DO NOT RESPOND & PLEASE DON'T SEND THEM ONE BLAME PENNY.   Our agent tried calling the number but couldn't get anyone to answer.   It's amazing at what low levels these parasites will go to to try and take someone else's money!  Why can't they get them a REAL job like the rest of us to make their living instead of taking money from hard working, honest individuals.  Just someone else expecting somebody to pay their way, thinking everyone owes them something - bull.

By way of update, after calling the "removal" number at the bottom, I just got a "Final Compliance Notice" in the mail.  So removing yourself from their fax list just seems to add you to their mailing list.  At least this will be more costly to them to continue to harass me.

These guys were persistent, but it turned out that our supervisors did need the training. We put one guy through it at first, to see if it was legitimate, and it was. After so many posters saying it's a scam, you all of a sudden come on here saying it's legit.  Gee...wonder who to believe?!  (Not you)

You all will just be thrilled to know that you can prevail over unsolicited faxes through a little known statute - The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).  Here's how: http://www.fcc.gov/guides/fax-advertising.

Among the options is to file a complaint with the FCC (which does not preclude the other options), local or state consumer protection office or your state Attorney General’s office. The FCC web gives all the steps.

The BEST option of all, the coup de grace:  You can also bring a private suit against the violator in an appropriate court of your state. Through a private suit, you can either recover the actual monetary loss that resulted from the TCPA violation, or receive up to $500 in damages for EACH violation, whichever is greater. The court may TRIPLE the damages for EACH violation if it finds that the defendant willingly or knowingly committed the violation. Filing a complaint with the FCC does not prevent you from also bringing a suit in state court.   Now that's what I'm talking about!  So, hit 'em in the purse and there will be peace in the valley, or fax machines, so to speak.
