they just hang up...all the time!

Just happened to me. Werid. Its washington.D.C area code.

I have been getting these Republican robo-calls for a while.  I have no connection with whatever group is generating the calls so I don't know how they got my number or why they are calling me.  I just filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry. I just called back the same number and a recording said it was "disconnected or no longer in use."

Get constant calls from these jerks and  even after I say hello, 3 times for them to get connected nothing.  Stupid jerks are wearing my patience - if I was republican I would not vote that way just because of this - my spouse is repub and he might actually want the stupid idiot calls but you'd think if they're going to waste their time calling they have the balls to speak.

called this # back and is "sorry, you have reached a number that is disconnected or no longer in service"

Oi: What makes you think they are Republicans? Nothing on this forum indicates that. You say you've never talked to them.  I've had calls from the Muscular Distrophy Assc (and others) on a Washington DC area code. I see nothing here that even indicates it's a political call of any kind. Sheesh! Calm down.

just received a call from 0111-202-505-5383--    did not answer- any idea what the 0111 prefix indicates ?

So I have received three of these calls and Mr. Romney screams something about never apologizing. It would be an effective strategy to defeat him actually because he sounds so insane. I will stop picking up and need to learn how to block certain numbers. I get calls from D.C. that I do need to answer. This really sucks.

Number just called would not answer and would not leave message. Problem solved number is now blocked !

Just got a call from this number.  No ID, no message.  This is about the seventh call I've had today from the 202 area code.  Very annoying.

sounds to me like you are making a wild guess who is calling.  I figure it is obama and his mamma calling and havent learned the kings english.

I've received calls from this number several times.  The first time I answered it, it was indeed from a conservative/Republican organization asking for money.

I don't answer calls where the number is unknown to me. If it's important, they will leave a message. The Do Not Call registry doesn't apply to political, charitable or companies where you have had contact. So, reporting these calls won't help. If I don't want to be disturbed by any calls, as I nap every afternoon, I turn off the ringer. The answering machine is there for a reason. If they don't want to use it, so be it!

I have been getting these calls as well, it is actually Democrats, not Republican's calling.  Once you call back they will continue calling you, that is how companies get around the Do Not Call Registry.  Like someone mentioned earlier, if it is a number with a political affiliation, they are allowed to call.  

If they are not saying anything to you, chances are it is not a political party, we all know how much politician's love to hear themselves talk.

It's Mitt Romney wanting my $10 so I can help him pay for the dozen high-quality Vote 4 Me flyers he's mailed me.  Seems like just weeks ago he only wanted $3...  Very pesky, and this time the recorded MItt was crowing about winning the debate loud enough to make the speaker on my phone buzz.  If he was really on the phone, calling me at the stroke of 9pm, I'd give him my two cents, at least.

So sick of political calls.

It must be Obama as there is no teleprompter telling him what to say!!!

I'm Republican but this number always calling, probably just to vote for Democrat
