got a text from this number about my boat for sale, found it odd as I live in Canada and this was from Washington D.C.

Got an email as well today from the same number about my car sale.  This guy says he works on a rig and will have the full payment sent by paypal...39K$!!!!

These are scammers who want to pay with paypal accounts and will overpay for whatever your selling.

Well know scam for boat listings, they will never deal live and the grammer is usually very poor are your fisrt signs.

Just ignore, they want you to respond instantly.

Got the same thing for a boat i have for sale. Wanted to know my final price before even asking any details. Seemed fishy so i googled the number and here i am.

Yup, us too - want to buy our boat yadda yadda and will pay over asking - scam!

Got the same number and this is the third scam that I have had sent to me.  Also watch out for navyjag6@gmail.com and perkjulian@gmail.com.  They all wanted to buy my boat for over asking price.  Who would spend 20K on something they haven't seen. such [***]!

Just had the same thing happen to me for a bayliner 45 I have for sale.......kinda figured this as we get alot of this happening to our company. Seaward Kayaks.

Thanks for the heads up everyone... got the same thing for my car for sale... smelt funny so looked online and found this... Same email address, different phone text number. Working on a rig... blah, blah. Give me your bank transfer or paypal details and I will send you the money.

What got me thinking was the name wasn't matching up with the email name. The bad English, and the text to email.
I don't get this?
