- KRI got the same message from Heather Grey. You can barely distinquish her name. They make it hard. Something mumbled about the IRS. Weird. I am ignoring it.
- Ken| 2 repliesI just received a call from Heather Grey at 202-506-8713. I did not answer the call. She left a message claiming to be with the IRS and said if I didn't return her call legal action would be taken against me. Maybe I should have answered the call and ask her if she had Lois Lerner's missing e-mails. lol
- cam| 1 replyComplete spam on the phone. Should be banned. IRS
has enough issues right now. Beware. Message was muddled.
Ignore it.- Caller: IRS

- Leon replies to camSame message on my phone from Heather.
- RachelA SCARY SCAM!!! There was a muddled message from this number on my voice mail. I called back. A man said he was the IRS and there were problems with my taxes. When I started asking questions he told me he would read the info, but: “Don’t interrupt my speech. I will read you the statement, then you can ask questions.” His speech was vague, but included comments about violation of tax code, deficiency in income tax. I asked for his name and employee number. He said John Riley employee number 193406720. I asked more questions: How was I to know about any supposed tax issues? When was this discovered? Why had a not been contacted previously? He told me there was a certified letter sent in April and not delivered because no one was home. He told me the sheriff would be at my house within 2 hours to arrest me. I called the police--- it's A SCAM!
- Tarun GuptaLikewise, me as well. I agree it's a SCAM!

- Joe BI too received the same type of message and called back. At first I was shaken. I interrupted to ask questions about proof from the post office that they tried several times to send me notices and I failed to respond. When I requested something in writing from the IRS they hung up.
I immediately went online and found others with the same area code and prefix and knew it was a scam. Reported to FTC and IRS.- Caller: IRS fake officer
