Call received bya make with an Indian accent from this number and said that a $10,000.00 pell grant was given to me and they are with the Federal Reserve of United States, I was told that there was a processing fee of $100.00, and there would be a call from the bank and there would then be a $350.00 wire transfer and insurance fee, I  was aware of people trying to scam and that when you reveice a grant there is no fee and there sure isnt a wire transfer fee and insurance fee, i started asking alot of questions back to back and none of which could be answer not even the name or telephone number to this so called bank that he had just stated sent him a confirmartion email and also said they had just tried to call me to collect the money to make the transfer but i didnt answer........... there is also another number 661-380-3000..... se be aware !!!!!

I received a call from this number stating I am getting a $10,000.00 grant that don't have to be repaid. Then I received another call from a different number and the man told me what I couldn't buy with the grant. Then he told me I had to send a check overnight to a person in Michigan and when he got I would have my money and my check would be returned to me uncashed. How odd??

I received two calls already from this number which is a indian descend stating that I owed IRS taxes since 2008 and I told this person to go F@@@k himself and its a F***king scam and hung up. He call me today from this number 2025069559 to say he an IRS agent that a warrant is out for me and that I must to resolved this matter. If I answer the call he would got the same response as yesterday . Please be aware of this scam

Just got a call from an "IRS Agent" from a Washington DC area code (202) 506-9559, telling me that between 2008 and 2012 my taxes were paid incorrectly. He said he had a signed certified letter in his possession, signed by me back in April. The fact I had not followed up with them in 6 months was what the United States Government needed to prove I had specific intention to defraud the government. While he was speaking in his Indian accent, I Googled the number and found a person nailed by this guy just an hour ago, here on this site. Same type of comments... warrant out for his arrest... I got, "Now before we put a lien on your home and all other assets..." I told him my husband was a United States Veteran, my taxes were done by a CPA, I had an attorney, I see the scam letters online about this phone number and I was about to start recording the message, did he want to continue. I further requested he email me the 'signed' certified letter from the government so I could see my signature. He laughed a little; don't think he thought I noticed. Thank you to ray Magliacano who 1 hour ago typed in his message here. Warn Everyone! I'm an educated business woman, meticulous about our bills and taxes,  and even I was taken back and a little nervous there for a moment. Who wouldn’t be?  I chose not to make a snap judgment just because he had an Indian accent... then he started threatening me and I started digging and counter threatening. So far I have not seen my ‘signed’ certified letter from the government he said he had.

I just received a call every similar to KH, saying that if I didn't respond within 24-48 ours it would be turned over the authorities and I would be taken into police custody.  For what???

Did a reverse lookup on the phone number, and it comes up as a cell number.  Pretty sure the IRS doesn't call you from a cell phone.

I just received the same call. They called me a few weeks back from a different number stating the same things. This is ridiculous.

Just got the exact call as KH!!! To the letter!!! Amazing......scared me to death at first....don't give out any info!!!!!

I got a yahoo message from someone named Alex Osborne.  He thought he was talking to you.  Does the name ring any bells?

He said you'd sent him money in the past and admitted he was a scammer.

I just thought you should know, whoever this man is has your name.  And believes you to be in Australia.
