Received a call from the number.

Left no message.  Came up on caller ID as ACLJ.

The woman I spoke with claimed to be from some organization that the name ended in Criminal Justice.  my caller ID said only "District of Colombia".  She asked for my husband and said she would call back later.

7-05-08 8:37 am Called my number but didn't answer when I picked it up.

Called 3:20PM central time, 7/5/08.  Caller ID'd as cellular call.  Left no message on answering machine.  I did not attempt to speak to caller.

Recieved many calls answer and no one is there usually hang up on me. Have also let ring to answering machine and didn't leave message. Comes up as District of Columbia

Received 1 - 2 calls a day for about a month. Never leaves a message.

Same as above.  Calls, hangs up or doesn't leave a message.

If you try to call it back you get the "We're sorry..." automated message.  Why doesn't the phone company put a system in place that blocks all calls that are blocked from being returned.  This would end all of this BS with the anonymous telemarketers that are skirting the current laws.  The technology is quite simple and basic.  Don't take "no" for an answer!  This isn't a matter of "We can't" but "We won't" because of the $$ involved.

frequent calls- at all hours- they need to stop

Have gotten calls at noon, 4p, and 9p - this needs to stop if no one is going to respond when you say, "Hello?"  Have hung up on the answering machine and on us when we answer.

Has been going on for about a week.  Multiple calls per day.  Hangs up when they get the answering machine.

Has called at 4:00pm and at 8:00am. No response when picked up, just hang ups. Called number back as it appears on caller ID Unknown Name 202-5077331. All I get is a recorded message about someone has been trying to reach me regarding a message from some criminal justice dept. and they will call again. This has got to stop! We are on a do not call list, yet jerks like this can bust through?? I know we must have the technology to put a stop to this. Someone, please help!!!

on my caller id see calls repeatedly, as many as 10 a day. leaves no message

calling off and on for about 2 months now. when call, is every day for a week or so. I answer but no one is there! I let voice mail get and never leave message...how annoying!!

Tried calling back to ask my number be removed, but only get a recording.
