Anyone know who this is?

I have no idea but its out of washington so it must some policial crap I am getting sick of these calls. thank god for my caller ID blocker they cant call no more

I searched the number its says its a washington navy yard who the heck is that

They called about 6:45 PM - whe we answered, there was someone on the line, but they did not answer.  Put them on speakerphone and waited, but finally received the "If you wish to make a call" ---- message.  

Did not answer.  No message left.

The caller, Out of Area ( displayed on my phone ). called us @ 3:08,P.M.08/13/2014. I returned the call. A man's recorded  message to me: " This is Health Net Information (?), please leave your name &  brief message." , Since the box is full . No way, I can say anything.  I dialed  * 1-202-517-9959 to block future call from this unwanted number according Verizon Phone Company. Many people  reported this unwanted number to www.800notes.com since 08/01/2014.  

Caller ID just says "WASHINGTON, D.C."

I don't like calls from people that hung up on me after I say hello to them and hung up on e  9:25 am today It say Washington DC on my caller ID who could be calling me from that number. I did not call back. I have be told not to call back numbers like that before. 202-517-9959.

I always submit a complaint to donotcall.gov . The more of these they get, the more likely they will shut them down.

They called just now, 6:50PM, I decided to answer, there was someone there but they hung up on me.

Just called me too 6:50 pm 9/19/2014. I tried to call back and phone call just disconnects without anyone answering..

Answered.  Said hallo ya fukin loser..  No response. go figure?!

They will not leave a message............CRIMINALS, hiding their name, and harassing the public by phone......

Criminals and bogus operations do not follow the law.

202-517-9959 numerous calls--no voice--no recording.  Suspect upcoming election related.  ?Polling.  ?Survey.  Maybe associated with other numbers:  517-0845, 517-9270, 517-6963.

I am requesting g that this number be reported as mentioned above.  Please investigate and stop the harassment on my home phone.

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

Please realize that political calls do not fall under the DNC.  What you need to do is tell them you do not want to receive their calls, and make sure you do a opt out with all the political parties.  Then, if you receive calls, go that persons web site and under their contact us page, write them and tell them to place you on their internal dnc list and also there is a political do not call you can sign up for. I did and also tell them to use that list and give them the url for it. I have not gotten any calls for years now.  Not even political survey's.  So it does help to follow the steps.

The other thing that will help, if you have a cell phone, if it doesn't already have call blocking, there are free call blocking apps online you can get for some phones. If you have a land line, google call blocking devices. There are phones also available with call blocking but they do not hold as many numbers as devices do. Many of the devices run around 50.00 or less.

It's got to be a political call. Our call blocker got it first so I'll never know... or care. We block every area code (that includes 800, etc.) and only get local calls. The creeps are getting wise to that; twice this year they've used a local numbers; that is only a minor annoyance - press the block button twice and those calls are blocked.
