Received a call from this number, man with heavy Indian accent. Very loud in the background saying he was calling from United states government. I hung up. I called the number back and it said that the number had been disconnected. Scam!!!!

Got a call 2 days in a row. Said they were with Amazon associates program. I kept trying to ask them questions & they kept interrupting me. When I said I wouldn't be paying $300-$500 TODAY guy got all indignant and threatening so I hung up.

Do not continue to call me

Said he was with Amazon associates program, asked if I was still interested in making money from home.  I told him no, he was polite and ended the call.  Spam.

This number has been calling several days in a row. I don't pick up and they never leave a voicemail. I'm sure it's a scam.

(Guess they want that $300-$500 Guarantee!) :( Oh well, no money out of pocket I'd say hell yea to make money, but it seems like it's the EBAY Amazon Scam that they are trying to sell over the phone! :(

I keep on getting calls from this number, saying that he's a IRS agent and he wants to give me back my last 5 years of taxes for total sum of $5000... Here's the funny thing, he's Indian, his name is Jason ( how many Indian men you know by the name of Jason? ), a Washington 'number' and a whole bunch of other Indians in the background talking a lot... THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!! DON'T GIVE OUT YOUR INFO!!! Also, if it was the IRS, THEY WILL NOT CALL YOU, YOU'LL GET A LETTER, NOT A CALL... ESPECIALLY ON YOUR CELL PHONE!!!

-  they  are   also  impersonating  DEA  officials  /  IRS  /  FAKE  LAW  FIRMS   etc....  with  threats  to  arrest you  unless  you  immediately  send money  via  wire   transfer /  western  union   to some   offshore  country  !!!!!   obvious  scam  !!!

some  are landlines...many  are  cell phones...some  are  spoofed  and  linked  to  offshore foreign call centers  /  countries !!!!
we've  traced  back  most  of  these  numbers  to  offshore  foreign    call centers mostly  in   INDIA /  THAILAND / AFRICA  /  JAMAICA  ETC....

here's a  few  other  numbers  posted  from  the   same  area  code  offering a  wide  variety  of  scams  /  fake  emails and  scams  after  posting  something  on   craigslist   (  old  scam  )  ...... collecting  for  non  existant  "  payday  loans "....free  money / scam  giveaways /  calling  on  behalf  of  a  humane  society..... $1,000's  in  free  gov't  money.........  etc  etc.....stories  change  out  all the  time......and  the  usual  nonsense!!!

**   mysteriously  call to  claim  they  have  several  thousand  of  dollars  to  send  you / give ....just  provide  your  bank  account and  credit  card   right  away   etc etc.........scam scam
