Received call from this number.  Showed as Dir Assist DC.  I did not answer since I did not recognized number.  Have blocked it now.

Yet another in the series of FAKE, PHONY, **SPOOFED** numbers we've been getting this week.  ALL come from INDIAN/PAKISTANI CALL CENTERS and offer a RANGE of SCAMS: "Switch your electric provider", "Buy Home Solar Panels Over the Phone From a Complete FOREIGN STRANGER with a CREDIT CARD!", and the "Fix Your Computer Remotely" SCAMS among others.

Today's Caller ID said "DIST OF COLUMBI" [sic]

ALL of them are designed to SEPARATE you FROM YOUR MONEY!!!!

There are NO LEGITIMATE numbers within 555 in the exchange, other than "DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE/INFORMATION" for within that area code.  YOU CANNOT dial back to the SCAMMER this way!  Once you dial the Area Code and the "555" exchange, you will AUTOMATICALLY get Directory Assistance; the last four digits DO NOT MATTER!!!

This is the 3rd number to call my phone this week that is offering a list of scam offers. Got one from 208-555-0118 on Tuesday. Yesterday I got one from 877-365-9720 (debt collector?) and now this one today. So many scams these days. Also, any number that calls with a 555 number is not legitimate. No way of calling them back. Be sure not to give out any personal information to a stranger over the phone with these numbers.

indian call scan with spoofed invalid number.   So noisy I could barely hear him over the others in the background.  Said he was autoinsurance.com.   I said "who?" and he mumbled it again.  So I said "oh, so your a scam agent" and he said "f you" and hung up

It was about a medicare rembersment, said I would get a call back, they had my full name, age ,and address.

This phone scammer is making harassment calls like this just not care if they're breaking such serious laws and how serious their consequences can get!

It was someone  with  a  very  strong  accent  telling  me  that  I  was chosen to  receive  an  all expense  paid  vacation  in  the  U.S., whether  I  flew, or went  on  a  cruise.  I haven't  signed  up for  anything,  and  I  sure  don't  want  to  go  anywhere.  But then he said  that  I could  go to  the  Caribbean. Well last time  I  checked  it wasn't  in the U.S.  Gee, these scammers  really  need  to get their  stories  straight  before  trying  to  scam  people.  I just  told  him  I  didn't  want  to  go  anywhere  and  to take  me  off  the calling  list. I'm  so tired of all these people trying  to  take  what  I  have  worked  hard  for  over  the  years.  Why can't  people  just  earn money  honestly  anymore????
