- KelliCame as an SMS from office@sms.mycricket ACCOUNT ISSUE...when I call the number it was asking for my 16 digit card # also said three other # would be needed. I am guessing your security number on back of card. Never trust a call from Washington DC, thiefs.
- Danielle| 3 repliesI recieved the same text message as Kelli above: Came as an SMS from office@sms.mycricket ACCOUNT ISSUE...
I tried calling them and it was an automated system for a banking company. And they wanted me to enter my 16 digit debit card number. I tried to push # to get past it and they told me they could not patch me through until I enter my debit card number. I hung up on them! Total scam!!!- Caller: they said mycricket.com

- Mom replies to Danielle| 1 replyI got the exact same text message as both you and Kellie did at 11:51am CDT. I didn't try to call them back, even though I am a Cricket phone user. I think I'll call Cricket when I get home and let them know that someone is using their name to try and scam people.

- fjgilbertI received the same text message last night, 7/9/11, as the Cricket users who've responded to this post. As soon as the automated message asked for my credit card number I hung up and didn't listen to the rest. I wish I could figure out how to stop these unwanted texts coming to my phone, but I've checked my account settings and there is absolutely no way to block them. I don't even want the Cricket promos!! At least they're free and unlimited unlike my Verizon account I had :o)
