This guy Brian Seagal is a scam artist. The phone numbers are coming out of Westchester & Hiatesville, Washington. DC. the other number is 202-570-7295 a Joyce Rogers called from this number.
I was also told I had been awarded a grant but I needed a proposal written for it. They referred me to Cooper Financial Services who I had to pay $487.00. They told me to write the Cashier Check to Rosa De Brett. Which I did that also. Now I'm out $487.00 and no grant.
Upon digging on the internet there is NO Rosa De Brett living in the USA.

I also looked on the Federal Grant.gov website they are only giving grants out to those that are starting Technical Business, Scientific Businesses & Tourism (thru the US Dept of Interior). They state at the bottom of the page for start ups for a small business you need to apply for a Small Business Loan.
Since they aren't giving out a referral for a company to write the proposal they must be setting up a new business to scam people out of money for proposals & grants that don't exist!!

I'm not the only one they have scammed. If you look Brian Seagal's name up on the internet in the Washington, DC area plenty of bad reports are being filed on this guy.

Don't believe him!!! Send an email or call the Human Resource dept of the Grant.gov. they will tell you that it is a scam. And they know that their database has been hacked into and phone calls are being made from the list of numbers they got.

The Federal Grant dept is NOT GIVING GRANTS FOR SMALL BUSINESS START UPS unless you are in the above list of businesses.

My mother heart was completely broken when she found out it was a scam and it was too late because she had already sent Tom O'Grady money so an older woman by the name of Rosa De Brentt. I sent it to an address in miami fl and they told me they were based in lauderhill fl. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE, ANGER AND FRUSTRATION!!!!!!! My mom finally thought something would work out in her life and again something bad happened to her. If I could get my hands on them I would cause them so much bodily harm. I don't want anyone else to have to go through such pain that my mother is currently experiencing. She has always been let down in her life and nothing good seems to happy to her. She was so excited. And right now I am hurting because I can't do anything to stop her pain, her disappointment.

We were victims as well.  We are currently working with our local attorney general as well as the FBI.  E also went to our bank that we got the cashiers check from.  It was sent to Panama and Rosa's real name is Rosa bustamante debrett.  Her account number is printed on the cashiers check.  Feel free to contact us.  We hope to get these people caught.

We were also victims of   Pryia Seti for government grants(202-559-6124) and Tom O'Grady at Best Alternative Financial Services(954-678-0690). I do have to say they were very convincing and they got us for $488.00. in a cashiers check to Rosa De Brett   for the grant writer proposal. My job had closed and moved to Mexico and my husband had got laid off in Feb. We were told I had a good chance of getting a government grant since my job was moved to Mexico to open a small business which was something we had always wanted to do ,but never had the opportunity till now. They used this to reassure me everything was legal and that was the reason we were awarded the grant. They got us hook, line and sinker. We thought this was a dream come true and it has become our worst nightmare. I have filed a complaint with our general attorney and with the Federal Trade Commission. I just did this today because they told me we would receive the grant check this week and we never got anything. Pryia Seti phone has been disconnected and Tom O'Grady at BAFS has an automatic system set up and will not return my calls. I really hope these creeps are caught and prosecuted to the fullest. Times are very hard for us and we did not have $488.00 to throw away. Apparently they hacked into the government and BBB websites to be more convincing. I checked the BBB on Best Alternative Financial Services and they had a great report. Now when we look at it there is a complaint on it about Tom O'Grady and government grants. Scary ugh.

I was scammed as well. It all looked legit when you go onto government wed site and try to obtain a small business grant. This scam came from Financial Foundations in Clearwater, FL. It was the same as every other complaint. I sent a Cashiers check to Rosa De Brett and I was promised a grant. My contact person is named Jack McRay. Like everyone else who's been scammed; He will not return my calls and I'm out $487.00. AND NO GRANT ARRIVE !!!!

I too have been scammed, and what kills me the most is now looking back how naive I could have been.  When something is too good to be true it always is, and usually I live by that philosophy.  But this was a pretty elaborate scam, now what we have to do is get these people arrested for scamming us, and try and get our money back.
