202-559-7545

This number was given as a call back number for a number from Illinois 618-465-8138. I googled 202-559-7545 and it came up as "test link / fake phone number." When I called the number directly, I did get an answer. Both #'s had people with strong foreign accents and "American Names". The Ill. number gave me the name Andrew & the DC number was giving the name Ryan Smith. The call form Ill. said I had been randomly selected by the US Government for a $7,000.00 GRANT. After all was said and done, A card # or checking # was to be provided and a mandatory donation to an unspecified charity was to be made by cash in the amount of $210.00 via western union PRIOR to the relaese of the "GRANT MONEY". If I had over two hundred dollars to give away, I wouldn't need a grant to pay bills with. The other thing that alarmed me was the fact that I had not applied for any type of debt relief grants that I was aware of. This smells fishy to me and I think its a scam to steal money from people who need money as well as with account information and other personal information I think this could become more than just a one time rip off. I think it could be potential future financial problems in addition to those (a person who needs a grant to pay bills) may already have.

The same thing happened to me. I was called by a Michael Stevens saying the govenment was going to give me 7000 dollars and I questioned him asking how do I know if I give you this information how do I know   if this is true. Then I called my banking company to change my information on my banking card. The number however showed up unavailable.

I didn't call the second number and they called me back demanding me to call them. I'm scared.

same thing grant money ; blah blah blah but they never asked for a credit card or anything an never said anything about paying anybody ... how do they get all my information and stuff.

Yeah wtf it happened to me recently. i gave him my acct # but the last number different.

I was called by unknown number saying we were qualified for $7000.00 gov. grant.   They wanted to confirm my wifes information they had, and they already had everything, address, phone number, etc, but still needed a credit card or bank account number to process grant of course.  This is [***].  Then i was given a confirmation number and told to call 1-202-559-7545 and speak with Ryan Smith in order to process grant.  I called and asked for this guy, he answers (both callers sounded either middle-eastern or indian.)  I ask were he is located so i can come to his place and give him everything he needs in order to get me this loan........he's got no answer for me. So i started cussing him out because that is the only joy i can get out of this prick wasting my time and trying to steal from me.  I am tired of this type of thing happening.

what a scam first number they called from 999-999-9999 routed from the internet.. guys said his name was Michael Stevens and this is not a fraud and explained that I was gonna be awarded with a 7,000 dollar grant that I could by a car with.. then tried to get cc or bank info .. what a scam .. now wont stop calling me.. they have already called me 7 times in the last 45mins.. thats after I told them to stop calling me and I knew it was a scam..  Also gave me a number to check them out 206-317-3913 and talk to a Ryan Smith really they cant even change their fake names really hope they burn in hell bunch of f'n thieves.

i was just now called by a lady saying that the government is giving me $7.000.00! i do not have to pay it back or pay tax out of it. same middle eastern person and american name "chris watson" they told me to go to a western union and they will give me all the info it put on the form and give them a $190 depost plus $10 for western union. and within 10 minutes i will have the full $7,000 in hand while they are still on the line.. sounded real and i really went for it, could really believe it because they kept on telling me to hurry its a once in a life time thing. plus my girlfriend and frinds around kept saying NO its a scam so hell no! not doing it. the numbers was  202-407-9845 or 206-855-6734.

you know i got 2 calls from these ppl and didnt believe it but they kept on and on. so finilly i just gave my $200 bucks just to see what happens.. with in 25 to 30 minutes after all the forms was filled out and done with. a guy came out and told me to fallow him, when i did he gave 4 brown cases and each said $1750. the guy looked at me and said have good day. once i got to my truck i opened a box and it all counted out to $7,000!! i thought it was fake to the max but it really just a slap in the face.

NO DOUBT its not fake. this is real and is going to help me out alot!

I don't believe your story because it sure is missing alot of parts to it. Care to share exactly how you dealt with the forms and received the funds? Some guy comes out, out from where?? Suitcase? So movie-like. I mean, wow, if you got $7 G's that that easily, shoot then why did the rest of the people before you get diddly squat. Maybe you're with them on this.

So did you get the 7G's then?

I think this post is a fake too. lol... Besides that, this post was posted up 10 mins apart from the other fake one below. What a coincident. The last post before this one, was in Oct of this year, I just don't believe it period. Eventually the caller's will get caught, there is a such thing as GOD and Karma haha...
