They call you and tell you,you can have 7,000 put on ur debit card or bank card, or western union it to you but you have to get a code and call someone name Nancy Cooper and she will take the 270 up front off your debit, bank card or you can send them a western union for your upfront fee and you will receive your 7,000 in 45 mintues....this is a scam and I told them to stop calling me!!!  You gets nothing here sorry....

This foreigner named"Jennifer" had called my CELL phone and told me that the US GOVERNMENT WANTED GIVE me 7000.00 in grant money for paying my taxes &alot of other info, the name I WAS TO TALK TO WAS A "NANCY COOPER", I didn't call as a new it was to good to be true this is a SCAM WATCH OUT and call your local authorities ASAP as I did......

Just got the same phone call on my cell but if you call the # like this *672025808596 there will not be any answer cause they can't get your phone number or information...jfyi! She said I was one out of 1700 ppl getting this one time offer....pshhhh! She had an Indian accent also

I recieved the same phone call 30 minutes ago and called the number Jennifer gave me. Of course no one answered.  I hope this Jennifer is found and dealt with.  Not only did she waste my time, but she did this at a time when my mother had just been hospitalized and that $7000 would have sure helped my family.

Same as the other one with Nancy Cooper. I did not give them any info except my name. When I call the number it rang and the said you will now be disconnected 010T. Foreign accent on the person who called. The government does not have any money to give anyone...ha ha. They said they were from the United States Grant Department. I think it is a SCAM!

I just got a call from the "United States Grant Department" from a foreign person telling me to call a Nancy Cooper with my approval# so that I can receive $7,000 but I have to give a "security' deposit of $270. I don't think the government is giving away this money. It sounds like a scam. Is there anyone out there that really got this money, because it's to good to be true.  I also can not believe that these people have the guts to say that they are calling from the U.S. grant department.

Exact same with me...received a call...this lady with strong foreign accent....$7000 grant from US ..calling from D.C....i needed to cal Nancy Cooper @ 202-580-8596.....how ca this be happening....nobody stops them huh!!!

I keep calling this lady and she has a indian accent, then she tells me that the gov't wants to give me 7,000.00 bucks for some weird and odd reasons but when I call her back she answers. So....is this really a scam? did anyone actually send their 270.00 security deposit? lol I wanna knw...

this lady keeps calling me and says to wire $270.00 to the Federal reserve bank of NY and I can get $7,000.00 in my name from a grant from the gov't. I think this is a scam and don't want her to call me nor don't want anyone to fall for this anywhere. So, she needs to be stopped.

This man with a very broken accent called me with the same scam. He was calling from 469-286-9841 and told me to call Nancy Smith at 202-580-8595. I knew it had to be a scam and so I looked it up online. That is how I found this page. Thank you all for sharing your comments. They were helpful.

I am constantly getting calls from these weird numbers 2025597648 saying they are from usa grant department wanting my checking account number also i am getting calls from instantphonecash wired numbers 5042736984 or4016487436,3602843056 they will not stop pls help what to do i think get a new number huh

This person called me and told me  I was randomly choosen to receive a 9000 dollars grant ...scam

I recieved numerous calls from this number and a person named Nancy Cooper about a $9000 grant that I have won and I was tricked into paying her through western union but the reciver of the western union was not her it was a person name Ralph Robinson these people are out here in the world ripping off hardworking people and they need to be caught and punished it not right hope they suffer and get back what they done by stealing from our pockets [***]

Also people if you recieve a call from a number that is 818-394-0840 plz donot answer it this is another scam trying to convince people to get a loan just so they can get your money plz be aware of this god bless
