I was given this number to receive a Federal Grant. I know if you are qalified to receive a federal grant it is sent to you but I was informed by the female on this number that a deposit was required to receive it. The Federal Government does not do that. I want this number reported for Fraud.

I received the same call to receive a Fedral Grant of $7000. She gave me the Confirmation # and this phone # to call her Manager named Sandy Cooper. Iasked her to tell her boss to call me cuz I will not call that #.

i got the same call from the same women name sandy copper people like that needs to go to jail the number she called from was 740-751-0242 out of ohio

Call was similar as described above.  Very poor quality of call.

We received a phone call saying a survey had been done in our area and we were picked as the winners of a Federal Grant of $7,000. We were given the same phone number, along with a confirmation number, and told to ask to speak to a Sandy/Cindy  Cooper. I could barely understand the man on the phone as he sounded foreign. We were told we had to pick up the money with a picture ID at a Western Union.

Even i received a phone call stating the same thing which they have mentioned you. I didnt call the manager yet. seems to be fishy

I received the same call they asked for no money though so could it be hell naw Cindy cooper gone hate to here from me.

Same $7K grant money scam - unavailable number.  Foreign lady told me to call Cindy at the 202 number.

I received the same call from a Foreign lady I could barely understand. When I said to her if my federal government was giving me a grant then why have they not contacted me by certified mail? She hung up on me. So two nights later I recieved another call from another foreign lady who spoke better English. I wanted to know what this was about and both times I was told I won $7000. I listened to what she had to say and I also was given the 202 # and told to contact Cindy Cooper. She asked me if I wanted the money via 1) direct deposit, 2) On my plastic card or 3) via western union. Then she asked me how old I was and if I was married or single. I knew this was a scam so I did not call but I did go on snopes and I then searched google using the phone # and found this site.

received a call from this number saying i was selected for a grant in the amount of $8000. She said on the phone i had to go to western  union to wire the $280 in taxes to her first before i received the $8000. I gave her my checking account number and i think i have to change that now. She told me i had to call Sandy Cooper back when i got to western union to send her the $280.

This people are calling non stop. The thing is that they are callin family and even my ex!!! WTH do I do for this to stop? The lady Sandy is telling people that my social and ID are connected with fraud for checks. I'm only 25 and I've seen what checks can do since my family always used them. With that being said, I have never owned a check in my life. I don't want to call because I don't want them having my number, but it's getting a bit hard to keep telling people everything is fine and that the number is indeed fraud...what to do?????
