I just got a similar text from this name and number for a Kijiji add; same thing, wanted me to contact them via email even though that was listed in the add. Odd request, that's why I googled the number and found this page.

Yep same deal with me, text then email, wanted a PayPal account info. Nope, no deal. Told them cash only in person, surprise no more replies!

I cannot understand why people who use Craigslist to sell stuff don't put "Cash only, Local only". This would get rid of 99% of the scams. If you're selling a piano why would you even consider selling it to California, if you live in New York?
