Received a call from this number this morning.  The message left sounded urgent - the person stated that I need to call right away as their is a serious matter that she believes I am not aware of of the situation and as a courtesy wants to make me aware of it  and she also stated that I might wish to get representation (i.e. hire a lawyer) before the information is released to the public.  Important to note, this person did not give a name nor a company name and in addition, the phone number she wanted me to call back was 973-307-0485.  Also there was a small child playing and making noise in the background.  

Never return a phone call from anyone who fails to provide their full name and company name(legitimate callers always leave a first and last name  as well as the company they represent - if you are not familiar with them or have had no previous contact with them or their company).

Answered the phone at our company business and got a recording from J Allen Smith, stating the matter was urgent and the call needed to be returned ASAP. He never asked for a person by name, nor stated what company he was calling with. Just keep stressing how urgent it was to have the call returned. I did return the call and spoke to a female who sounded like she was calling from a boiler room. She never identified the company nor did she give her name. She asked how she could help me and I told her they were the ones calling me and stressing I called them. She asked for a previous employee by name and I told her he hasn't worked here for about a year in a half and she apologized and told me the number would be removed. Must be a debt collection agency, as I get calls from many of them looking for this previous employee.

I got a call on my cell and my home number from 202-618-4940. The first time it was a man that left a message on my cell phone saying he "had my number as a contact number regarding a matter in his office and that it was extremely important that I call back on 888-362-2684. The second call was by a woman on my home phone a few minutes later trying to verify if my information and saying that it was a DRS matter. She tried to give me a phone number to call, but I hung up on her and she didn't call back. When I called the 202-618-4940 phone number that the male caller left on voice mail, the recording that picked up said "Thank you for calling Dynamic Recovery Solutions". I believe it is some kind of debt collector, but considering all my bills are current and my credit score is in the high 700s, I'm pretty sure it is some kind of scam. I'll be re-entering all my phone numbers on the Do Not Call register again.

Got a call this morning June 7, 2013 from 202-618-4940. The person attempted to get credit card, bank information from me claiming that I owed 200 dollars to Columbia house from 2007 and they were calling to collect. I told this female caller that I have never shopped at Columbia house and will be notifying the police. Also I have a credit monitoring service that notifies me of changes to my credit report and they provide me with free credit reports so I know this was a fraudulent call.

Got a call from this number today. Requesting credit card information for delinquent bill. Fraudulent call, please beware.

Nobody worth talking to insists on talking to me live. They can bother someone else who has a lot more spare time than I do.
