This is just a new line that was set up from the scam company that claim they are giving away FREE GOV MONEY!! They will request that you send a deposit of $200 for $7000 and your $200 will be refunded after it's recieved. DON"T FALL for it if the government wanted to send you free money it wouldn't be through western union!! In addition to that none of the callers where american....hint number one!! Be on the look out for this number as well 202-621-0704.

This is a bulls--t scam i must admit  i was tempted but thanks to the i-net i looked up the phone number   and found a site that warned me of the scam plus there is other info you should have. 1)  The phone number is a land line 2) the phone carrier is new cingular wireless pcs.  Plus the  person i spoke with was not american born as he had an accent.

they called me today in the morning, they had an accent. Offered 7,000 , but after that asked :" Do you have any cash on you?". It was cute;' ( I said ;"yes, of course". A man asked to call him from the WU office and then "he would tell me what to do." I did not call them back, government would not ask the money for its grants. These people have an access to the colleges' information, I believe... They know your GPA and names, BE CAREFUL!!!!!!

They called my husband today and he almost fell for it! Thank God he called me first and i looked on inet while i called them back and he gave me a bogus website. i asked to speak to his supervisor, guess what, he was the supervisor! Go figure! i told my husband to leave it alons and if they called him back to call them out on the scam they were pulling and see what they did!

I was called from an unknown name  on my caller ID. They said I won a Federal Grant for paying my taxes on time and not claiming bankruptsy. They wanted to direct deposit it into my bank account, credit card or mail me a check. They had my name and address on file and they gave me a confirmation number and told me to call Micheal King at this phone number.

it just happened to me same name michael  how funny  they said because i pay my taxes on time  and no bankruptcy  dont know where they got there info but there wrong  ha ha

I just fell for this whole grant thing said send 199 and get 7199 back but it was all a lie and now they dont even pick up a phone so watch out for 202-621-0649 they are scams and just want to take your money.

i don't know. it's a load of [***]. we need to look and see how because this cannot continue in this matter. on your own time look it up and i will as well, and anyone who finds how to report they tired [***] we will let the other know. they need all the delinquent reports they can get. and who knows that may be where our real 7000 lye.lol.

We just got the same phone call, with the same number to call back we are going to report the number on the FBI website.

i got the same number i must blocked my account tomorrow because i gave them my bank details. This might be dangerous im just curious to search this people online.PLEASE THE WHOLE WORD BE AWARE OF THE LADY THAT PHONE PEOPLE FOR 7000 DOLLARS , UNITED STATES FEDERAL GRANTS... THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!

just got this call LOL so much for April Fools day LOL,,, the lady that called me was Shirley,, figured I would call back and now the phone rings busy. Hummmmmm wonder why.... LOL. and yea they told me because I pay my taxes on time,,, I am on disability for the past 10 years,, I have no taxes to pay.
