caller identified self ast Kate Williams, us government calling i had been selected for an $8000, grant, told them I was reporting this number to Federal Communications.   Received a similar call from a Nancy Cooper (sounded like the same caller) two days ago but caller id showed 'unknown number'  this person hung up when I began to question her.

Basically the same deal. US Govt Grant Office.  Kate Williams. Gave us an ext of 117. She said it's a financial relief from Obama and that our number was selected. But, we would have to pay back 10% of it.  My husband then asked for her number incase we were disconnected.  Wanted to put money on a debit or through Western Union.  Please don't get scammed people.  A Grant is not paid back. A grant is free money and if the government was going to give you a grant it would be sent as a check. I do love these calls because it gives me a chance to mess with them worse then they mess with me. I had one call me everyday because I told them I would get a Bluebird card and they wanted that info.  In the end I got called all kinds of names. People who are professional do not swear at you over the phone. Be careful and be smart. 3/11/14
