They just texted me and wated to buy a SUV that I have on craigslist. They are in DC, Im in MN, they said their shipper will come pick it up, they just need my paypal account information! Ill thinking its a scam!!!!

I live in oregon they text saying whats your pay pal account so they can give me the price i say i will take told them i do not have a pay pal account they insist that i set one up and give them my email so they can put the money in my account i say no only cash when and if they decide the vehicle after looking at it they respond paypal only.     DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU!!!!

They text asking lowest price I wil take, I give a price they ask for my pay pal account I respond that I do not have one.  They text back to set one up and give them my email so they can put my price in my account, I respond No,cash only besides you have to come look to see if you really want it and at least take it for a test drive. They text back paypall....   IF YOU RECIEVE A CALL OR TEXT LIKE THIS DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION OR THEY WILL STEAL AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!!!!   I live in Oregon, west coast, this text is from the east coast claiming that they want to buy and pay for a vehicle they have never even seen in person, not to mention have to then ship a vehicle for more than the purchase price.  AGAIN DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO A CALL OR TEXT LIKE THIS THEY ARE ONLY GOING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU.

Haha yeah i just got the same texts!

Glad I checked this web site.  Just got the same text stating the same process that was used.  I was trying to sell a camper and they texted back saying they wanted to buy it for their cousin as a gift.  They said they would send someone down to Tennessee to pick it up.  Who would buy anything without looking at it first? They didn't even haggle the price.  I just texted them back and said I sold it my cousin, which I did.  They mentioned their name was Anne Kramer.

Selling a tractor and had this number text me....got the same "cousin story" as Charles did above me^^
SCAM!!

I put a car in Craigslist and got this same joker...  "Anne  Kramer" wanted to buy a car for her cousin.  Said she was a Petroleum Engineer.  She didnt want me to deliver the car or even want to view the car prior to purchasing.  ALL SHE WANTED WAS MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT... SCAM ARTIST!!!! BEWARE!!!!  I tried getting some info on her thru texting... she got tired of me and stopped txting.

Got the same thing! Scam!!!

Just had a very familiar thing happen...I had a horse posted on Craigslist.  The email gave the same name but a different number.

They are still out there! Just got a text and same story, glad I decided to Google the number. Thanks for posting!

I had a john boat up and he said it was going to be a present for his cousin, i knew it was a scam from the beginning and played with him, he eventualy got pissed at me and stopped replying lol he used 2815295470 this time

I got the same story from this same number, because I was trying to sell a truck on craigslist.  Said its for a cousin.  I called paypal and they said even if you give the email address...there is nothing they can do.

me to for a gocart on 3/25/13.....same story

Just got a text from this person on my boat. Wanted my paypal acct. Told them wasnt gonna go that route because to many scams. If you want to buy the boat come see it and bring cash. They stopped texting.

It IS a scam Kerry. We were contacted by this number just last night and this morning, we have a Harley Davidson for sale on craigslist that we just posted yesterday. They said the same thing to us! People only need an email address to send money on Paypal, nothing else.

This number is linked to a scam artist who tries to get people to give out their paypal account information.

It's a scam
