- yaj| 4 repliesJust got the same call a few minutes ago from 202-643-1993 (it's a Washington DC area code identified on caller ID as "Think Say Act 10") asking if I had a small dog, then nothing else. The voice sounded recorded. And the message sounded a bit truncated. If so, I wonder if the remainder of the message would have been less weird. Wondering if all who received calls have or ever had a small dog?

- Large Dog Owner replies to yaj| 2 repliesThey called me twice in one day. We have a large dog who was recently at two vet's offices. Maybe they sell off our information?
- Rose replies to ry| 2 repliesthe machine also asked me if i had a small dog. I had some ogglers on my neighborhood who had been honking at me when I went on walks with my puppy. So, I got suspicious and asked 'why?' I waited to see if that would transfer me to a general customer's service person, but after about 30 seconds, the machine hung up on me.

message: "do you have a small dog?", then immediate disconnect.
Very strange.
Speculation elsewhere is this is an attempt to get people to say "yes", record it, and use it to claim you have agreed to something you have not. - magiI got multiple calls a day from this number with caller ID Washington DC. I picked up the phone only one time but did not say my name, just "hello" few times, then an automated message start. I've hung up immediately.

- Phoenix| 2 repliesI've had the same creepy call, "do you have a small dog?" and then a hang up 5 days in a row, sometimes twice. I'm on the "do not call" list, so why am I getting what has to be some sort of scam call?
- ChicagoI got two calls from this number today. Both times I let it go to my answering machine and it sounded like a hang up. I, too, am on the "Do Not Call" list. At least I am not alone in receiving these strange calls. Anything we can do about this?
- Jno message . Calls after 8:00 pm
THNK SAY ACT 10 on caller ID - Angus| 2 repliesThis is a fairly new robo-calling scam. Who knows (so far) what the scam is but you can bet that it IS a SCAM. (and they have no idea or even care if you have a dog of any size).
The safest bet is to not answer and by all means... DON'T GIVE A VOICE RESPONSE.
From what I've been told, surveys don't have to comply with the "Do Not Call" list. However this is not a survey (though the message states that it is). If you answer "YES" you will not be asked questions and will be disconnected from the call. If you call the number back... their mailbox is full and can not receive incoming messages. These calls seem to be coming from DC, Arizona and other places around the US.
No... I didn't fall for this... this information is what I have dug up through web investigation after I got my one and only call from them yesterday @ 5:25pm. I did respond with "Eat Me" and hung up and have not received another call since. I found information that the calls are usually repetitive and you will often receive several if you answer and don't respond. Listen to this barrage of calls that one person received from this robo-caller.
