- Yo| 3 repliesI have received 2 calls from this number this morning , a man that I could hardly understand, He said that I had 3 criminal charges against me and that he wanted to work out something with me and he had the last four digits of my social security number, He would not answer my questions about who he represented or even the company he worked for! I have no criminal charges!! I hung up on him as I told him to have someone call me that I could understand! he called me right back and ask why I hung up on him and I told him why. He started the whole speach all over again and still would not tell me what this was about and I told him to never call me again to send me something in the mail!! And I hung up on him again!!
- anonymous replies to YoTHIS IS A SCAM. Scammers pretend to be law enforcement (police, sheriff, Feds, AG's Office, fake cop agencies with made-up names) and using bought/hacked loan application data to extort money for fictitious crimes or extort personal info.

I told them if such charges were true then they should the pertinent info to my address. He asked for my email address, but I told him since he had my social, etc. then he clearly had enough information to send me the paperwork. I am tired of these people with accents calling me.

- PedroI Received two calls from this number and its the same story, they just want to get credit card information to scam people. Since they don't speak in a understandable way i started talking to them in spanish, they stated they didnt want to play games with me and started talking in a INDIAN language and they hung up on me. I plan to keep on calling them and harrasing them to see who ends up behind bars!!!!!!
- Fed UpJust got a call from this number with some [***] threatening me with a law suit and saying they could help me before I got sued.
- AlainaThis men have been harrassing me for over a year now. They keep saying I got a loan from then online, which I didn't, and they are saying they deposited 300.00 in my bank account. Only problem is the bank account info they said they used is for an acct I closed over 2 years ago. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. If you get a call from this number please don't give them any of your current info b/c all they are trying to do is get you to pay them random amounts of money!! They are very rude and ignorant. Trying to pretend they are a law firm sometimes, and other times they say they are police officers....They are not either. This is just a scare tactic they use to get you to give them money. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!!

- StaceyThey have called my parents house several times. Today they called me at work. My voice mail picked it up. It was the same guy that called before. He says his name is Officer Mike Johnson from the Washington field office. He doesn't sound like a Mike. He has an accent. He said that I have to call before Monday or I will be arrested. Whatever. Not once did he say what the problem was exactly or even the company with the complaint.

He kept asking what day and time can he call and reach this certain employee, I told him I didn't know. He then asked me for my name and tells me he likes my voice can he have my phone #, can we be friends. I said no and hung up.

- Kim replies to Yo| 1 replyI have had this man call me and claim to be Frank Jones. What a joke! He can't even speak English enough for me to understand him!! He told me he was with the Washington Field Office!! That is the FBI! How crazy is that?? He claims I owe for a loan from November 2009 and he is going to have to turn me into the courthouse in my county! He also has my work phone number which is really scary!! I know he's bought or hacked information, but I don't know how to make him stop. He won't send me anything in the mail or e-mail. Any suggestions?

I told them i reported them to the FBI and local authorities. the guy started yelling " you have to listen to me" and i said no i dont and his name was frank johnson. I hung up and a few minutes later they called again and left a blank msg on my phone and they kept it up for about 15 minutes. I promply called them back and said you dont know who you are messing with and you better stop-the FBI will shut you down soon. The calls then ceased-but will see what happens today. friggin' scammers! I also told them to get a real job and stop trying to rob folks!!!
- dPlease report your situations as described on this website: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/phonefraud/report.shtml
If enough people report it, it will raise a flag and someone will have to check it out. We need to go through the proper channels to resolve this problem.
This thickly-accented "Mike Johnson" has been calling my cell for months asking for someone who I've never heard of, won't disclose his company or his intentions. Asked to be taken off the list, he said he cannot do that. Asked to speak to his sup, he said he IS the sup. Asked why he continues to call after I've told him repeatedly that there is no Linda at this number, he said, "It is my wish." Most of the time it comes up as "Unknown" on the Caller ID, but this time the number actually came up for some reason.
Have reported this to the FTC, hope they can do something about it. - ClaudiaMack| 1 replyHi Guys,
Hey, your worries are over! If these numb nuts have been harassing you, you are going to love this. This dirtbag called me for the 1st time a few months ago. He could barely pronounce my name, said he was "Officer Mike Johnson" with the Washington DC Federal office. When the dipwad told me my social security number had been blacklisted with the US government, I knew he was full of garbage. Then he called back yesterday-his timing really made me mad, was dealing with a pain level of about 8, trying to get some sleep/rest before getting to work, and the calls woke me up both times. I never answer numbers I do not recognize if they don't show a name, so he had to leave messages, and these were even more stupid than the first time he called-he told me I was facing impending arrest if I did not agree to pay them what I owed. ( no specific amount was mentioned) The second time they woke me I sort of lost my temper and called them back to tell them off, I left them this message :Hey, Dumbass, what you are doing is so illegal it is not funny. I am so glad I grew up in a family of lawyers, because I know my rights, YOU'RE GOIN' DOWN!!!" and hung up.
After calming down a bit I did some research on FTC's website, and found out that it may have been better to try to get more info from the perpetrators, (while I was doing this research, "Officer Johnson" called me 5 times, left his threat again during 1 of these calls!). I got off my computer and called them back, and rather than get a greeting from some bogus company, a young man with a much slighter accent answered with a simple "Hello?" I used my sweetest tone of voice to ask very nicely for Officer Mike Johnson, and the guy replied "He's dead" !!!!! I was surprised at first, and pushed a bit further, saying How can that be, he just called me 5 minutes ago? to which he replied, yes he just died 5 minutes ago. Can you believe the sleaze!! I told him sarcastically that I was very sorry for his loss, and that I would not be calling any more. ARGGH!! If I can ever do anything to help bust these slime balls, I will be happy to, feel free to contact me, just leave a reply here. Ding done the dirtbag's dead?! - jordan replies to ClaudiaMackClaudiaMack;
you are just to funny and the poor mr johnson died and they are just sleze bags is correct. maybe i should call and see if Officer Johnson is dead too?? keep up the good work!! - annoyed replies to maryThis Mike Johnson also called me this morning and he was calling from Washington Field Office. And also called me at work. I did not answer the call Ilet my answering machine pick it up which I know for a fact that when my phone rings and I did not answer my office phone will ring.
