number called my cell phone 36 times this morning. No one on other end. Called # back and get a recording saying I called "is not a working #"
ATT traced and could only tell its a land line. I have blocked it now

Phoned Saturday morning  and  there  a message regarding extending car warranty.  I pressed #1 and spoke to a live person, once I told them which vehicle do they think had expired warranty, they hung up.  This is truly a scam  there is no way to block them.  They are located in the states and I live in Ontario Canada.

Whoever's calling isn't very sophisticated. It was about a car warranty and I could hearsomeone press play on a tape player before the message. They should consider themselves reported to the CRTC and to Bell.

OK so I reported them. I know the CRTC won't do anything because they are located outside Canada, but if we all report them something will happen. the CRTC will form an alliance with their US counterpart or something. There's power in numbers people!

I received this same call monday afternoon.  Similar situation to Angelo. I pressed one and heard a man's voice say, "Can I help you?"  
I asked what vehicle they were referring to and then heard a couple clicks before the line went dead.

An 8:45 p.m. call asking if we wanted to extend our vehicles warranty. Our 'vehicle' is long out of warranty.

pressed 1 to speak with a person after this number called my unlisted landline five times. when i told the person i've never owned a car, he hung up. tried to call back at least six times and got a different 'number not in service' message every time.

Calls and hangs up. How does this loser earn any money?

Got a call from this number, did not pick up then googled the number bringing me here.

Got a call on my cell phone (illegal act #1), which is on the DNCR (illegal act #2).  Prerecorded (illegal in some states) idiot pitched a job interview.  Sorry SOB is now angling to take advantage of those who have lost their jobs!

they called but didn't leave a message. next time I hope I'm home. I'm planning to use a bull horn once I get a live person. If they are going bug me I'm going to make one of them loose a little bit of there hearing.

I received a political call, which is not covered by our "No Call" list.

A note for those who have posted here.

There are ways that the calling party can control the Caller I.D. information that you receive, both the number and text. You may be receiving invalid Caller I.D. information.

In "cold calling", high volumes of contacts mean everything. The caller may be using an automated system of dialing where your number is dialed before one of their agents is actually available, but with the expectation that an agent will become available before you answer. If you answer before an agent actually is available, you obviously don't get an answer.

Called Cellphone. Automated system, left a message which played a recording:

"This Chelsey from Liberty National. I'm Calling to schedule an interview on April 22, at Cambria Suites Hotel. Call us back at 912-352-9550"

Received a message about warranty on vehicle expiring. Funny considering I have 1 with a warranty on it and it's only a year old.

Call evidently hangs up because no message is left on answering machine.

I missed this call, caller left pre-recorded message to go to hiring seminar in Jacksonville, FL tomorrow, instructing to call back 904-710-3736 for more information. I searched given number and found matching information on local craigslist for seminar taking place today:
