This is another "IRS has filed a law suit against you" scam.  Beware!

left message saying its filed lawsuit

I received a call from this number with a recording saying the irs was suing me. I called them back knowing it was a scam. A man with an Indian accent answered. I told him that he should be ashamed of himself for being a thief. He said he was proud that he was taking money from people in the USA and UK and hung up on me.

Left a message stating final notice from the IRS that they were suing me. Knew it was fake but called them back. Lady answered and I laughed when she said IRS. I said really, I can hear background noise from a cell phone. She said I'm the only one working right now. I said you called my house number and left a number with no name as to who the message was for. She kept asking me for my name and social security number and DOB. I laughed and said I'm not stupid if you were really with the "IRS" you would know who you called and my information. Guess I need to called the police and have you checked out. Immediately she hung up the phone.

I received a call 6/23/2015 stating how IRS was suing me and going to pick me up in two hours with a warrant for my arrest. Was a woman that couldn't speak good English and then a manager came on. I hung up and refused to pay or send anything.

My 66 year old father received a phone call from these people.  They told him that they were the IRS and that he was being audited. He said ok and hung up.  Thank the lord he didn't give them any personal information.  Dad told me about this and I knew this was a scam. The IRS doesn't call you.  I told Dad that this was a scam.  He gave me the number and I called them and an Indian speaking women answered the phone and said IRS, I said this is the IRS? She said yes, I said okay let me speak to your supervisor, she said my supervisor? I said yes and she asked why?  I said "I just want to speak to your supervisor.' there was a long pause and I said TODAY!  and she hung up on me.

I received a call from this number telling me that that the IRS was suing me.I knew instantly it was a scam. I laughed and said OK send me all of the details and I will get back with you.  Whats more disturbing to me is how did  they get my phone #??

Recieved three calls from this number today. SCAM is all I can say!

I had two messages on my voicemail. I decided to call back, the line was busy. I tried again a few minutes later and some cat named "Ronald" from who knows where said he was from the IRS.  I could hear many calls in the background with IRS being mentioned. I asked him his IRS ID number which any  IRS employee must give when they answer the phone right after their name. He countered with "what is the number your are calling from"? I made up a number and asked for his ID again. He said he needed to check on something and put me on hold. Hold mind you was him not talking for about 45 seconds. All the while I could hear the other calls in the background. He got back on and asked if I was Mr. Stephenson.

I proceeded to tell him that while he was trying to scam me, I was enjoying a nice thick pork chop with a slice of center cut bacon on top.  I also told him that I was grubbin' right in the middle of Ramadan. He hung up.

My man, anyone can get any number. The do not call lists are a joke.

They keep calling saying that the IRS is suing me. I know it's a scam but it's annoying.

reported to stopfraud.gov. You should all take 2 mins and file a report!! do more then just post something do more!!!!

We have been getting voice mails from this number for about a month. It was unsettling at first, even though I figured we would have heard by mail first if it was legit. Now it just makes me angry that they won't stop. My husband called them back finally to tell them to stop calling and that we would be reporting them. It hasn't made any difference. The guy he talked to had a thick accent and called himself something like Beber Jordan. He was hard to understand. I am reporting it to the address mentioned above right now (stopfraud.gov); maybe that will stop it.
