Automated voice message: "On April 26th, your senator, [senator's name removed for privacy], voted against the 'Iraq Accountability Act'..." The recorded voice then asked if I would like to express my outrage/concern regarding my senator's stance by being connected, at no cost, directly to the senator's Washington, DC office by pressing 1 on my keypad. I pressed 1 and expressed MY opinion -- not necessarily that of the robo-caller. The senator's clerk said that they were inundated with calls, which they strongly suspected were coming from MoveOn.org or another similar organization.

According to SuperPages, 202-658-7595 is a Nextel cellphone located in Washington, DC.

We received a similar call listed as 'Unknown Call'. The message was from
a group calling itself Campaign To Defend America. They left their phone
number. When you call that number you get a recording asking you to leave a
message. I told them not to call my telephone number again.

We'll see what happens.

I had a message from Campaign To Defend America too.  I left them a message with my phone number demanding that they never call again. Now I'll do what I can to defend myself from them and I will never support thier cause, no matter how noble they think it is.  Backfire.

Campaign To Defend America again also.  Did the same as the other posts.  There must be some way to get them to stop calling!

Same thing for this "Campaign to Defend America" -I've read about these spineless people that hide behind untraceable numbers & other cloaking techniques.  Take a few seconds to fill out a form like this, from a Google search.  Also look into the Do Not Call.gov routine.  This has got to stop but only if enough people are active, kinda like what this Campaign is trying to do.
