These people have called us on 9/15, 9/13, 9/10, 9/7, 9/1, and 8/30.  Probably before that, too, but that's as far back as my Caller ID goes.  Shows up on Caller ID as "Unknown Name."  They purport to be some kind of "Vietnam Veterans Fund."  When they called today, I TRIED to tell the guy that I don't respond to telephone solicitations, but he wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise.  When he asked if I could spare a few minutes for him, I said "NO!" and tried to tell him again that I don't respond to telephone solicitations and to take me off their list, but he just said, "fine, we'll call you back another time."  We won't be picking up the phone for this number anymore.

The exact same thing happened to me!  I had the same guy!!!  Talk about rude!  If they want money it is the WRONG way to get it!

Called me during the Packer Viking game CAN YOU BELIVE THAT??? Like I was gonna talk to them then !!!

this same number has been calling me also.i have not picked up the phone to talk to them either , I  registered my phone number on the do not call list,  how can they be stopped?

They called several times asking for my husband saying he had given them money before. My husband doesn't anser the phone much less give money on the phone.

They claim they are calling from Card Services to lower my interest rate.

I would like these calls to stop. I am on the no-call list but that makes no difference. I found out awhile ago that Charities can still call even if you never gave to them before. That was the whole reason I went on the no-call list. So I suggest just don't answer the phone- maybe they will get tired of trying you and quit.
Also I kept recieving calls from the fire fighters and the WI state Police---- the same guy named Bill would place both calls. He made the mistake of calling for each one right after the other-- that's when I chewed him out and said I wanted off their list. They just have someone else call you, I said I was to be taken off their list- the person said you are still on my list.
I believe that when I told Bill to take me off the list- he did-- his list!! So it doesn't do any good!!
The No-Call list is a joke

They're starting to call again. Received 15 calls from this # in 2011, last one was 7-20-11.
I never answer out of state "unavailable" calls. Other sites report them as "Credit Card Services" or "Veterans Fund" - both try to scam you out of your money.

I am a bit confused-some posts say calls are from credit card services others are asking for money-whatever/whoever they are I wish they would get the hint when we do not pick up the phone,

I get a call every weekday morning from these people.  I've asked them not to call but they won't take no for an answer.  No real charity would be this abusive.

This number calls almost every day, sometimes 2-3 times. It just says "unknown caller". It's time to block this #.

I have been getting the same call.  Haven't answered any of them, but the calls come in about two or three times a day--usually around meal time.

This number calls me atleast a couple of times a day, EVERY DAY for months now!!!!  For the most part I don't answer numbers I don't know. However, when I do pick up for this number, nobody speaks then the phone hangs up.

Viet Nam Veterans solicitation.  I tell them to put me on their do not call list but they keep calling.  Rude sometimes.

I just take a day and speed dial them all day long on 2 phone lines. They have to answer them to get an open line, so I keep on trying till I get through. When they answer I ask for money. Then after the 20th call, I ask them how it feels. It doesn't stop it, but it sure makes a fun time of an hour or two. And maybe they put a note on my number not to call, but doubt it.

Oh yep, he calls me all the time.  And is rude just as that to me too!  I called the Vietnam Veterans Fund.  They know nothing of him.  Definite Scam.

Called them back, the message says it's "The Fundraising Office".

Obvious scam, add them to your block list, or call them back and leave messages expressing your loathing and discontent, if it makes you feel a little better.



The "Call Type" drop-don box on this site should have "Scam" as an option.

Never give donations to a stranger who calls you. Might be a scammer. Might be a legit independent fund raiser who keeps 99% for themselves and sends 1% to the charity. Best to donate directly to the charity so they will get 100% of your donation.

Called 3 times today each time nobody on the other end.  Just called the number back and got a recording stating itis the "Fundraising Office".
