This is a craigs list scammer.  Do not reply to text message or you will be cheated, report call to your state attorney generals office and to F.B.I.

Posted an RV for sale on Craigslist on 11/3/12--got a text on from this number the next morning offering to purchase my RV, and requsted my Paypal e-mail account.  Called the number and a man with an Asian / Oriental accent answered -- there were lots of noises in the background.  Could barely understand the person.  Sounded too suspicious--after I disconnected the call, immediately got another text again asking for my Paypal e-mail.  Definitely sounds like scammers trying to cheat people out of their money...but not today :)

I should have also mentioned that Craigslist had posted warnings on their site about this type of scam--hats off to them for warning customers!

Forward the text to 7726:

Security company Cloudmark created a spam messaging reporting service that nation’s major wireless carriers agreed earlier this year to start using. Now, customers of AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint and others can forward their text spam message to 7726. The mobile phone carrier will ask customers for the phone number that’s linked to the spam message so they and Cloudmark can start investigating.

I posted a vehicle for sale, got a text with a bunch of garbage (text string copied below):
"i hope this is legit? if yes answer this questions's why do you want to sell it and what is the conditions and since when have you been using it and i want you to know you are also in safe hands and i want you to assure me that i won't be disappointed with it and did you have all the papers with you cos am getting it for my cousin but the issue is that am not around i would have come and see it"

I just got a text from this number . He says his name is lucas. On my craiglist posting I said calls only' He wants to buy my loader tires for six thousand sight unseen. It's not going to happen. thanks for this sight.8-7-13

Yeah, he's been texting me about a 4 wheeler I have on Craigslist .... Haven't heard back since I said,"cash only in person".
