They are scammers

They are scammers posing as Fed Grants Dept. US Health & Human Services

CLaim I was chosen to receive a free grant, stated the money could be sent into my bank account, mailed or western union, I said put it in the mail, never, got any money.  two numbers 202 684-3423 sand 202 684-3923

Things to believe:

• There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.
• If it sounds (or looks) too good to be true, it probably is.
• You have not won big bucks from a benign benefactor, a pot of pesos from PCH, dinero from a doctor, or a grant from a gracious government    <<<<<<<<<<<<
• The tooth fairy really does not exist
• Everything you read on the internet is not necessarily true.
• It is illegal to ask for money for a loan or prize, before awarding the loan or prize!
• "Free Trips" are loaded with mandatory & costly extras, and you usually must give them your card number after listening to a loooong spiel at a hotel.
• Microsoft or one of their agents did NOT cold call you to fix your computer.
• The moon is not made of green cheese.
• The IRS will snailmail you, rather than phone you, if there is a problem.
• Jackalope milk is not an aphrodisiac.
• If you "green dot", MoneyGram or Western Union money to a scammer, the money is gone.
• You should beware of Greeks bearing gifts, specially if the gift is a wooden horse with termites.
• 876 is NOT your lucky number, and it will cost you money to call that area code!

This number called stating the US Government authorized me for a grant of $6k+ and would not be required to be paid paid back.

Called number and kept getting different people.  All individuals who answered the phone were from foreign country, specifically India or Pakistan - that accent.

got a call from 202-684-3423 and they left no message...

This number called me saying my number was randomly chosen to receive a federal grant for 6k. I told him I work for the government he says great get your money, I told him that I was not sending him any money, he told me to come to his room and get it. I said what is your address? He gave me an adress in my city, I ask what part of the city, he didn't anwer me, then he ask should we use a comdom and do I give [***]? Smh, I'm gonna report them to the bbb...

got call said got grant from gov for 6700 just go buy green dot money pak card put 200 on it call them back and give the the card info and theyll send me 6700 grasnt money straight bs

They are fake. They got my number from an illegitimate free money phishing site. You have to pay but never get your free money. They are saying that they are the government, but they sound Indian OR Pakistani. They are just phishing for info.

They are full is crap!! I told them too, to put the [***] in the mail.  The chick immediately hung the phone up on me...It's a scam y'all...Don't believe the hip!!!

I got this call about 20 min ago. As usual they told me I had got a free grant of 6000k. They gave me a number to call as soon as I hung the phone up and ask for Annie Fargo. Why can't the gov catch these scammers and lock them up or better yet deport them. ALSO THEY SAID THEY WERE THE IRS CALLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If some everyday person like me claimed the IRS was my employer I would be locked up and they would throw away the key.

I got this call about 20 min ago. As usual they told me I had got a free grant of 6000k. They gave me a number to call as soon as I hung the phone up and ask for Annie Parker. they said it was because of good credit. and than hey ask for $250. no thanks you sounds like a scam but the funny thing was the guy sitting next to me got the same phone call. dont fall for it. its a scam. 100%

how can we get this people to stop doing this they just scanned me $250 the same thing Annie parker she told me the same thing about winning 6700k .

They call trying to get some personal information after i told ,it. Is a fraud he start offending me, bad blood socker.

Some one know how to trap all these crooks

Keep getting calls that my number was chosen to receive free grant money from government. Wish they would stop. Have been called three times

Received a call today from a 607-527-5366 number advising that I had been chosen to receive federal grant in the amount of $6,700 by calling an Emma Green at 202-684-3423 with a federal ID number the individual provided via check or money order. When I asked for a way of verifying this information I was told that the Emma Green would provide this information. When I called her she gave me the same story and then asked advised that processing of this so called grant money would cost me $295. I then told her that I was not falling for this scam to lose my number and information. Please do not fall for anyone asking for money in order for you to get money.
