Oh yeah, 202-684-6380, said a law suit was being filed against me by the IRS.  Big huge scam.  Would have not thought a thing about it but just so happened that someone had filed a tax return in my name and ssn fraudulently and I have already filed charges with the local law enforcement office and the IRS and The Federal Trade Commission.  So just beware and aware and protect yourself and your identity.

Several calls from this # 202-684-6380.  Finally, recorded message was left stating that they are the IRS looking to file a claim against me.  I phoned the # back just to see what was going on and the connection was all static.  I figured this was some sort of scam and hung up before anyone answered.

I just received the same phone call, do not believe it. IRS will always contact you by mail regarding any legal action so you can arrange a legal representative and the mail item will explain your rights protected by the government.

same as above. I called they said an officer had left notice on my doorstep twice and I was now going to be arrested within 2 hours if I didn't pay $5800 to his supervisor.

Same as above...they called, left a message saying the IRS is filing a claim.

I also received a voicemail message this number on my cell saying the IRS was filling a lawsuit against me.  What are these people?

Same here, 4:17 6/30/15.  Someone claiming to be "Officer Michael Brown" with an accent said the IRS would be filing a "lawsuit".  LAWSUIT???  What, in civil court?  LOL.

Sad because some people would fall for it.

Just wanted to update you guys. This is a Skype number registered under my email address. I kept getting voicemail notifications to my inbox, even though I have no registered Skype account under this email address. Skype has been notified over a day ago, and as far as I am aware, I've locked out the scammers from their account and they cannot access your voicemails.
