This number has called my home 3 times in 2 hours. Very annoying

This number called me with information about my account. Would not explain which account when I started asking him questions. He hung up on me on my third question. Sounded like Indian accent.

They called repeatedly  but when I answered they just hung up.  I decided to look up the number since they had called 6 times within 3 on a Saturday.  That's when I saw the scam notice and it all made sense.  The house phone is in my boyfriends name and when a female answered they couldn't pull the scam.  My son was here when I got another call that he answered.  The caller stated he was from the government collection agency.  My son hung up on him.  The surprising thing is not 10 minutes later I got a call from another 202#     202-666-4444.  The caller spoke in very bad english with an accent so thick I could barely understand her.  She said she was from US government grant dept.  and because I'm never late on a bill and had no bankruptcy the government was going to give me $7000 as long as I promised not to use it for anything bad like gambling or drugs.  I told her I knew it was a scam and she said ok by.

This number attempted to reach me three times on 8/11/14. I answered and they said they were called from the US Government Grant Department to tell me that I was eligible for a $9k grant in which I could use for anything I wanted. This individual had a foreign accent. I said no thank you and requested to be removed from their calling list.

This number called - accent so thick she had to repeat herself. She is from the US government grant dept and has $9, 082 to give me, never pay back not a loan. Puhleeze!

they call about every half hour about the gran  hey want my checking account number to deposit the money  different people every time with slight to very thick ac cents.  tried telling them to quit calling and they haven't stopped.

This number call 5 times a day. I try to call back and it is a busy signal.  I do not have time for this.

This number repeatedly calls...I never answer it...but they call every hour if not more...Very annoying!!!

p.s. stopped this stupid you know what.  call the number back only to be told this is not a working #,in service so take your bull some where  else.   don't need you

yes, i have had this number call me multiple times today.. i called it back on another line and it was busy.. i will not answer if they call again. thinking it is nothing but a scam. uuuuugh

I got a call three times i didnt answer the first two but answered the last one the man had a very heavy accent and said my name very mis pronounced and i had to have him say it a few times i finally understood his terrible english and say yes this is isaac. He said that he was from the US national treasury and i asked why would a 14 year old kid be getting calls from the us national treasury and he immediately hung up. I love getting these calls thiugh it give me something to do during the day when i have nothing to do.

I am also getting multiple calls on my home office phone, no one there they keep hanging up

I had four missed calls from them today! 11:51 am, 1:22pm, 2:15 pm, and 3:00 pm. Ridiculous !!!

This number calls my business line every half hour and hangs up, this is harrasment

I've received 9 calls in 36 hours from 202-697-9006 and answered only 1 time. The scam artist had extremely bad English and it was tough to comprehend this person. They told me I qualified for a loyalty grant in the amount of $9,000. After this last call I got fed up and called my local FBI field office and gave them the phone number and times the scam artist called. I was then directed to the FCC and they documented the call date and times. The FCC instructed me to block the phone number; last the FCC told me to contact the FTC 877-382-4357 and my local States Attorney Generals office (each state has a dedicated number). I called the FTC and they also documented the call and gave me a reference number. I was directed to go to FTC.gov and go to the complaints section and follow the instructions. I did as much as humanly possible in regards to this annoying scam artist bothering the public. Hopefully this will put a stop to these calls or at least deter them from calling anyone who makes a complaint to the FTC.

They call me constantly all day long. They just called three times within one hour. I dont answer calls I dont know.

I got called by them several times when i answered the man had terrible english and said my name then said he was from the US Treasury or somthing and I ask why would i be called by the us treasury and he hung up now when i tried to call the number back it says its disconnected instead of getting a verizon announcement code and i havent gotten any calls since. So maybe you need to try and scare the new callers that they have that have bad english. Who know though.

This # has called me 5 times today.  The one time I picked up no one answered.  How do you block?
