Called rather early (8am) using a local number so I figured it was legit. Answered it and a recording kept saying "please continue to hold" every few seconds. ANNOYING.  Perhaps like the auto dialers are calling even when there is no telemarketer available to read you their scam.  If so, this is a new low...

calls almost everyday around 11 am and they do not leave a message it kinda scares me

you can always block the number right? cause if you don't know who it is just ignore it if they keep calling you then block the number. that the safes way

Called & hung up when I answered the phone. Even though we are on the do not call list.

Recorded interactive message looking for a name I never heard of. Told to press one if I was the person or two if not. I simply hung up.
