A person female claiming to be Mellissa Vutler from US Government Grants Office in Washington DC said I had been selected for a cash free grant of $7000.00 dollars. I could receive the money in 3 ways.
Direct deposit to my bank acct
debit card
Western Union pickup.
I requested to return her call, she said I could not call back. She needed my age the grant is for people 17 to 70.
I said no your a fraud. I called the # back and it is a non working number. The us gov't does not work that way.  They do call and tell you your selected for a grant nor do they give you options of how to receive the money. Beware.

The lady who goes by Melissa said she was calling for the U.S. Government.  Then when I hesitated she hung up on me.  Seems not right so I Google the number and I found is a scam.

I got a call, but it was automated and said that they are going to refund me 10,000 to my account and to call them back. Well, the same thing, the number is non working! They keep calling, but when I answer they hang up!!! So irritating

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from the US government and saying I'd won a $7,000 grant. When I pushed back and asked for more information she said "Don't act so smart [***]. Stupid girl" and then hung up on me.

A female caller said she was with the US Government Dept. and I been selected to receive $7000 free grant money. When I would not tell her the state I was in she hung up. I tried to call the number back and it said the number was a non working number.

Every time I answer they hang up, I'm tired of hearing my phone ring!!!

Was so rude told them I'm on my cell driving- hands free-my daughter is in the car to hang up not to ever call again, I'm on a do not call list! - they continued by saying that I asked them to call me!  That this and that-

Today was the first call from this number but I kept getting calls from 1-202-177-7222 last week.  They never left a vm until today.  (I blocked 202-177-7222) A freign male I could barely understand, said he was from the IRS and that it was urgent I returned the call.   When I tried to call back from a land line I got a recording saying the number I dialed cannot be reached.   What BS!

I just got a call from that 202 735 7560 number n they kept hanging up this time I anse n said I don appreciate prank calls the women was so rude n said this isn't a prank u little b**** an hung up I'm tired of scam people assuming I'm dumb enough to give information heck I was born in the morning but it wasn't yesterday morning that's for damn sure lol

Callen dint answer did not leave voice mail. Called back no answer 10 mins later recieved a call from a person claiming to be jonathen knight from the irs. Saying i my taxs were fraud. Lol guy give me a break i dint even work last year or file taxs lmfao

Got a call today from this number. It was a woman but I could barely understand her. She offered me a grant through direct deposit, a debit card, or wire transfer. I asked for them to send a check since they already had my address but she said the government wasn't able to do that! I love how stupid these people think we are and I love messing with them once they call.

Scam.  Ask for random name and then offer me the persons money.  Scam

That number calls me fruquently each week.  It is a total fraud and when they say the reason for the grant... They hang up. If you hesitate to respond, she hangs up. She asks for information and finds you from websites you have used in the past.   202-735-7560. You cant even call them back.. From dc, u.s.

i got the same call three to four times a day for over a week i just hung up on her i sure didn't apply for a grant.

They called and told me that they were calling from the US Grants Department and that they were responding to my application for a grant.  I instantly told them that I never applied for a grant and would appreciate it if they would quit calling me.  I was told that my name would be removed.  They keep calling me constantly.

Jerks....why doesnt the do not call list work?  If I answer nobody is there...sick of my phone ringing,but at least with caller ID I dont pick up!

Because these are criminal extortionist calling you.  The DNC is just a list.  Criminals don't honor any lists or any laws.
