- Stephenreceived a call from this number, man with a very strong central Asian accent telling me he was from some governmental organisation (I forget exactly) in Washington, DC. I told him that I was pretty sure he was lying and if he was not lying to please provide me the address if the building he worked at so I could verify that he was telling me the truth. He hung up.

- Another TexanRecorded message said the call was from the IRS and the IRS was filing a lawsuit against us. I called it back from a different number, got a thick central asian accented man who said he was with the Internal Revenue Service, Washington, D.C. office. He wanted the number they originally called. I gave it to him (it's not like they didn't already have it in the system somewhere) and he gave a name ("Ashley" something) I had not heard of. I said no one here by that name and he hung up.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
